Warning: swearing!! Words: 473 words ——————————————————————————— (Your pov) It was a special game for us. The expectations where high and everyone was easily irritated. We where winning with 5-3. Heading into the last 5 minutes of the third period i get pushed against the boards. I pushed back catching the eyes of william nylander. He skates next to me and whispers in my ear "girls do not belong in the NHL" as he skates away.
There was always a bit of tension between the two of us if my team would play against the Toronto maple leafs. It was hard to put aside the fact that he's so attractive and handsome.
We had a small conversation before the game and it was going pretty smooth. My little crush growing but it all crashed when things like this happened on the ice. I'm always a girl who keeps her mouth shut but today was to much. Enough is enough. When he targets me unnecessarily i turn around and started yelling random words at him.
Without me even noticing i throwed my stick away and tossed my gloves to the ground. He looks at me unbothered and started laughing. That was it for me. I skated to him and punched him right on his left cheek. My teammates pulled me of him. The refs whistles of and tells me to get of the ice "what the fuck" i yelled and made my way to the lockerroom. Took a shower and changed into sweatpants and a croptop.

When i walked out of the lockerroom i see my teammates getting of the ice and with the leafs right behind them.
I walked away fast so i don't need to make eye contact with William Nylander but to my luck i hear my name and turn around just to make eye contact with William. "Y/N WAIT" i looked at him "what do you want nylander" "i'm sorry for what i said on the ice" he said I chuckled and said "i'm not going to apologise for what i did to your cheek" he smiles at me and said "you don't have to, i kind of deserved that one" "yes you did" We laughed and had a small but really nice conversation until i saw few of my teammates and a few of the leafs leaving there lockerroom. I saw Matthews and marner heading our way and matthews placed his hand on williams shoulder. "You coming will" he asked "yeah one sec" he said, the boys already makign there way tot the exit. "Could i get your number before i'm leaving" he asked with his cute shyness. I smiled to him and answerd "sure" he handed me his phone and i typed my number in his phone and saved my number in his contacts "text me" i said before i hand him his phone back "i will"
