"Okay, Izuku, ready to go?"
"Mhmm"
He hummed, quickly eating the rest of the fruits on his plate and putting it in the sink. Granted, he had to use a chair to reach. Aizawa had put on his boots and grabbed his things, making sure to put them all in hidden pockets before grabbing the folder. The folder contained the agreement as well as the terms and conditions. After Izuku agreed on which house to buy, he had instantly messaged the owners. Aizawa managed to haggle down the price to a true steal. Turns out the owners were much more desperate than they let on originally.
"Sawa, can we go see it now?"
"Yes, but remember I have to talk to the people who own the house, so don't look wander around without me."
"Okay!"
The kid was practically vibrating where he stood. His clothes were all crumpled and unorganized, but at least they were on correctly this time. Aizawa quickly grabbed Izuku's schoolbag from the living room and brought it with him. The excitement stayed rooted in him for the entire car ride.
"Remember the rules?"
Aizawa asked as he pulled into the driveway to the house. The place gave off the wrong vibes and looked dull and possibly rundown. If the hero himself hadn't been inside before, then he would have believed the first impression just as anyone else.
"Mhmm! Don't go far away."
"Which means don't leave my sight."
"Okay!"
"If you find anything weird, tell me."
"Okay!"
"And-"
"Sawaaaaa"
The younger whined. They went over the rules already, and he was itching to see his new home. Aizawa sighed before unclipping his seat belt and going around to the back, opening the door for the other and helping him out. Izuku practically squealed at the sight of the house. He saw pictures beforehand when he was asked which house he wanted, but seeing it in person was different. It needed some work, definitely, but that was an easy fix.
The grass around the building was overgrown and everywhere. The gate that surrounded the house was in shambles and squeaked in the wind, some definite fixing was needed. The walls were dirty and some parts had brick. It was a beautiful house if you got past the cobwebs, cracks, creaking fence, and overall haunted aura.
"Hello, I am Shota Aizawa, and this is my son, Izuku."
"Well hello there, I'm Ms.Clancy."
An older woman about a foot shorter than Aizawa greeted them from the front door step. She was the owner and had grey hair with a singular vibrant purple streak on the right side of her head. She stepped back into the house and held open the door for them. They both stepped in and rubbed their feet against the mat inside, Izuku was going to take off his shoes but Aizawa stopped him.
"Now Mr.Aizawa, how about you see me in the kitchen area to finish discussing the final details while little Izuku here can explore."
"Alright. Izuku, stay where I can see you."
"Okay Sa- Dad."
"Good job, bud. I'll check on you in a bit, okay? Need anything, call me."
With that, Izuku skidded off into the living room and started to poke around. The living room was decently sized; it was practically double the old house's one. There were big windows against the wall that took up at least half the wall with dark red curtains covering them slightly. The couch underneath it was old and raggedy, so were the surrounding two and single seated ones that formed a U. The table in the middle wasn't even a table anymore. The missing leg made it tilt to the floor.
