We walked into the village, and everything looked so grey and lonely. I peeked inside one of the houses and my eyes were met with some scared looking ones. It was a family hiding. I looked at Aaron and regret not leaving him at the boat

"Yeah, looks like nobody's in, so do you think we should head back? Eustace said and I gave him a 'really?' look.

"Do you want to come here and guard... Something?" Edmund suggested. "Ah, yes." Eustace said relieved and ran up to us. "Good idea, cousin. Very, um... Logical"

as we were about to open the door to the bell tower we turned back and looked at Eustace. Caspian gave him a dagger just in case he got himself into trouble. "I've got it. I've got it. Don't worry." He said with a shaky voice. Lucy looked at him with a worried look on her face. I patted her shoulder, and we turned back around.

The door rumbled and creaked as we opened it. Behind the door was a room full of hanging bells and statues of a headless king holding their own head.

I tighten my grip on my sword as I knew what was coming next. Edmund noticed and did the same.

Lucy nodded at me and then looked at Aaron as in reassuring me that she would keep him safe.

"Uh, I'm ready to go when you are." Eustace yelled and his voice echoed through the room. I shushed him and looked around the room.

There was a desk full of books and candles with chains all over them. There was one big book laying open in the middle of the desk.

It had all kinds of names written inside, some crossed, and there were numbers beside each name.

"Who are all these people?" Lucy asked.

"Why have they been crossed out?" Edmund questioned.

"It looks like some kind of fee." I told them. "Slave traders." Caspian answered and Aaron gave me a scared look.

Suddenly these men came flying out of the bells and attacked us!

I knew it was coming, but still got surprised by how fast they did it.

"Look out!" Caspian yelled and we all got ready to fight.

Caspian fired arrows and took some down. Edmund swung his sword and smacked some with his flashlight. That must have hurt. At some point he had to drop his flashlight for better aim. Lucy swung her sword and quickly pushed Aaron behind her.

As I was distracted by watching them some man grabbed me by my arms. I wiggled around and turned in his grip. When I faced him, I smacked my head into his with all the force I got.

He let go, but man that hurt like a bitch. As the man was about to swing his weapon at me lucy blocked it with her sword. I nodded at her as a thank you.

We all stopped when we heard a girly scream. Of course, it had to be Eustace being held hostage...
