Humans, very inteligent live beings. Their brain is a three pound universe that processes about 70 000 thoughts each day using 100 billion neurons that connect at more than 500 trillion points throught synapses that travel 300 miles per hour. The signals that travel throught these interconnected neurons form the basis of memories, thoughts and feelings. Pretty impressive, even though some mortals will use all this intelligence for stupid action.

Many humans feared new things. They wanted someone who would lead them forward. Through the darkness, fear and many more things. They were very aware, that rush actions can make chaos. But the fear overtook their thoughts.

The little idiots listened to their scientist. Like some sheeps, they began to follow their footsteps. "Turn to a better future" was a famous saying back then.

Many projects have failed over time, many lives have been given away for nothing. But people have only as a motive to survive. That's why they didn't care about sacrificing someone else. Yes, they are social but also selfish. They love attention and fame. Laziness also belongs to one of the humans characteristics. They didn't have to do anything, after some time androids took care of everything. People have moved a lot forward, but because of this step with robots and everything, more communication has been limited.

Therefore, it was decided to incorporate microchip into the back of the head. It had a lot of features, but it also had a lot of viruses in the beginning. Basic functions were social networks, GPS and scanner. Over time, upgrades were added to the device. There was a great demand for the so-called "Ultimate Edition", which had everything a human could wish for, 3D models, games, a more detailed scanner that was able to scan even a living being and give accurate informations about a certain person or animal, and much more. All of this was in the "Ultimate Edition" which was quick to get if you could dig into your pocket and give away so money for this life-changing gadget.

Of course, they all got at least basic version of the microchip. Each chip was intergranted into a part of the brain, so these functions could be used with a simple thought. A small control panel will appear in your sight, you will simply see it as is it belonged to you naturally. Everyone can see their control panel personally. However, if you use special functions, for example opening special locks with code, your control panel will be visible even for people around you. So be careful, anyone can use that against you.

A small strip of white light stroke throught my courtains to my dark room, exploring everything what was in. Cold wind followed right after, camping around my foot that stayed without cover. The smell of streets with smoke was intense, wandering all over. Not even noticable drops of water fell down from the roof of the building on my window before sliding down, leaving visible trail of water.

[7:40] *𝙱𝚣𝚣𝚝𝚝𝚝...𝙱𝚣𝚣𝚝𝚝𝚝...𝙱𝚣𝚣𝚝𝚝-*

I instantly throwed my phone across the whole room with a hint of agression. My eyelids were still deeply closed, even after a shock from that sound. I slowly opened my eyes trying not to curse under my breath, but that was already a part of me, so mission failed. Forcing myself to stand up was also my daily rutine.

Nothing or no one will ever make me wake up full of energy and quickly.

As I dragged my legs on the floor, many people were arguing right under my apartman. Just great. Not even a single neighbor, knewed what was their problem. Probably a wife and husband, having stupid arguments about kids future, money or God knows what. Either way, they are stars in being the most annoying humans alive. At least I thought.

"I swear, cup of coffee is the only thing that can save me from this bad mood." I mumbled quietly, still half asleep with raspy voice. After turning the lights on, I took my favorite cup for my morning coffee. The machine started working with a few sounds escaping from it. In the meantime, I prepared my simple breakfast, surprisingly, quite healthy one.

As I relaxed in my kitchen, some time has passed. I scrolled through social medias. On instagram, I saw some cool posts about vacations and thing like that, until I stopped at one.

"Great, my idiotic friends tagged me to this embarassing post." I thought to myself as I stood up.

Eating breakfast, changing to more formal clothes, hygiene...that all was a pleasuring start for a day like this. A small faint smile maked way on my lips. But my eyebrows furrowed after I heard some voices from my room, it sounded like scratching. And I already knewed what was going on, so I hurried to my room.

As I opened my room I saw my cat. Scratching on my bed sheets. She lookes so innocent but in reality, that cat was devil itself. "Go away Amaretto!" It was an interesting name for three colored cat, but it worked. That small creature walked away with her small paws hitting the ground. To be honest, I was used to her doing mess but it still pissed me off.

I got everything I needed to head off. Of course, I need to pet Amaretto first. I crouched to his level and rubbed her ears. Her fur stayes between my finger as she jumped in my lap. I was sad to leave her but hey, my friends waited for me long enough. I took Amaretto in my hands, putted her down and got up. "I'm sorry love but I have to go. See you." I closed the door and Amaretto just sitted by the door, waiting for me to come back.
