History is my least favorite class of the day, so of course I just HAD to have it in the morning. I'm sitting in my seat, doodling in my notebook when she walks in. She stands in the doorway, her pink hair swinging slightly. She looks around for an empty seat and she finds one......right next to me. I take a deep breath to calm down, but I can't take my eyes off her. She sits down and looks over at me, her deep brown eyes locking onto mine. "Take a picture, it'll last longer" she says with a flip of her hair. I blush, and look away.. I've been in love with Alexis Greenway since freshman year, despite her reputation. She never notices guys like me, not that I'd know what to do if she did. I'm really awkward around girls, I get nervous and bumbly. Mr.Morgan taps on his desk to begin class. "Ladies and Gentleman, today we're going to start a project. In history, there are seven wonders of the world. You guys are going to find seven wonders in your current world. I've already picked your pairs, so you can stop shooting looks across the room at your friends. I tune out as he starts going down the list of pairs. I hate doing projects in pairs. I always end up doing most of the work, and I can't stand other peoples egos. " Evan Burk!"
"Yes?"
"You'll be working with," he pauses and looks at his list, "Alexis Greenway!"
