i was in my bedroom working on some school work. being a senior in high school wasn't exactly the easiest thing ever. my boyfriend however had already graduated. lucky duck. anyway i was so focused i didn't notice my boyfriend on the balcony of my room. until he knocked very aggressively. i turned to see him there with a smile. i walked over and unlocked the door.
"hey what are you doing here?" i asked walking back to my desk.
"can't your boyfriend just want to spend time with you?" he asked
"well yes but you usually come through my door and not my balcony."
"i wanted to be different"
"oh okay so this has nothing to do with the basket in your left hand and blanket in you right" i smirked
"okay so maybe i was thinking we could have an inside picnic." he said raising his eyebrows.
"can i finish my work?" i asked
"nope come on. knowing you you've been at it all evening and haven't stopped." he said pulling my chair away from the desk.
"no i haven't" i said crossing my arms.
"oh yeah, well then when did you start on this paper?" he asked kneeling in front of me.
"um as soon as i got home from school" i said
"sweetheart its almost 6:30 which means you have been writing that for 3 and half hours straight." he said
"but its due on friday" i said as he pulled me onto the blanket
"y/n its tuesday and your almost done with it take a break." he said pulling out some food
"ok" i said. we ate some homemade pizza, which i'm assuming he made before he came, and some pasta salad like stuff. we ate and had fun just talking.
"i have a surprise" he said
"jagger what did you do?" i asked as he pulled out a plate with tinfoil on it. he unwrapped it to reveal chocolate covered strawberries. we ate them and then stood on my balcony looking at the stars. he had his arms wrapped around my waist as my back was pressed against his chest. suddenly i knew why he had done all of this.
"jagger, how did you come up with this?" i asked
"a magician never tells his secret." he said as his head shoved it self further into my hair.
"so this has absolutely no relation to the scene in hsm 3 where troy brings a picnic to gaberiellas room?"
"don't ruin the moment" he said turning me around.
"okay" i said. we leaned in and shared a kiss.
"i love you" he said
"i love you more" i said.
