In two days marks one official week of us not talking to each other. Yep, that's right. Me, Endeavor's secretary, not talking to him for almost a whole week.

Well, I don't completely ignore him—I talk to him when I need to—like during meetings or during one on one's with Hiroko. Other than that, we're are good as strangers on the streets.

Today is the worst day of my life—well second worst day of my life. Why? Because I finally have to go up to the man and hand him paperwork that has to be looked at by the end of this week.

Flashback: Five days ago

"Stop saying that! They're not—oh, hi Y/N," Daiki said, eyeing Hiroko.

Hiroko socks Daiki in the arm, waving at Y/N like she didn't just hit her colleague. "Hi Y/N! Boss too tired to go home—"

Daiki grabs Hiroko by the arm, yanking her towards him. "Leave her alone."

"What—why?" Hiroko demanded, yanking her arm back.

"Look—her eyes are shiny," Daiki said, whispering to Hiroko.

"So? What does that have to do with anything?" Hiroko pressed, leaning on the front desk.

"Soo it means that she's been crying—pay attention to her face. There's streams of tears." Daiki pointed out, dismissing the ignorance.

Hiroko squints her eyes, trying to see the quickly receding Y/N. "Gasp...I see it! Why would she be crying though? And in such a rush..?"

Present: Lunch Break~

"Should I text him?" Hiroko muttered, looking back and forth from her phone and the empty meeting room. Hiroko spins around in her chair, blowing raspberries and mentally debating.

"Eh, it's not like he has anything better to do," Hiroko digs her heels on the ground to stop the chair from spinning, taking her phone.

Hey
What are you doing?

Nothing, I'm on break
Why?

I have something to talk to you about

Don't tell me it's about them two that night

Bingo!
See you in room 15-3 in five minutes

Unbelievable

Hiroko puts her phone down and pumps her fists in the air, spinning around in the chair once more.

"So you think boss and Y/N had a fight?" Hiroko asks, shoveling down her food.

"Probably," Daiki said, half paying attention to Hiroko's side theories. "Why else would she leave his office crying?"

"But what would they even fight about that would make her like that?" Hiroko asks, pressing her fingertip to her chin.

Daiki shrugs his shoulders, leaning into the chair. "Beats me. Maybe boss said something to upset her...?"

"Well duh. But what?" Hiroko starts pacing the room.

"You're reading too much into this. This isn't even our business, Hiroko," Daiki reminded, looking her in the eyes. "It could probably just be her upset for a whole other reason."

"Do you think that maybe boss...broke up with her?" Hiroko blurts out, completely ignoring what Daiki had just said.

Daiki smacks Hiroko on the head, his mouth making a click sound. "Don't be stupid, Hiroko. Why would she date our boss?"
