Double Take

Chapter 4

We just have this eye to eye contact for a few minutes. Then ayun, nag-initiate na ako una to introduce. Alam kung nihihiya lang din siya siguro nag-aantay lang din na ma una ako.

"Hi! Jayden Carl Buenaflor, right??" 

"ah oo, I'm Jayden. You're Avery Castillo, right??"

"Yes yes, it's Avery. Nice meeting you." sabay pagkilala namin and we both shake hands. Ang formal naman namin. Then smiled at each other. After that, dumating narin si Maverick. Hindi na kami nagkapag-encounter ni Maverick dahil lumakad na sila bigla papuntang ICT Building.

Nasa third floor ng ICT Building ang room pala for today. As we get inside,  kanya-kanyang mga computer ang bumungad saamin. Since I have no one na close friend, ay naghanap nalang ako on my own kong saan ako uupo. Then I've decided sa column 5 ako umupo from the entrance, and third to the last sit nito. Malamig ang lab room since fully air conditioned ito.

Sana pala nag dala ako ng jacket. (I'm freezing to death)

While waiting sa instructor namin, medyo magulo na tingnan kasi kanya-kanya na silang approach and getting to know sa bawat isa at chitchat sa iba. Tumabi na din sakin yung dalawa ko pang kaklase na babae. 

Sa pagkakaalam ko ay itong short hair girl ay si Rhenreal Saballero at ang kasama naman nito ay si Giselle Maye Perucho. I was about to say hi kay Giselle but nung nagtama ang mga mata namin ay parang iniiwasan niya ko. 

Feeling ko lang ha, ito talaga yung hate ko na part yung first meeting sa klase, especially classmates na kayo at magkilala na talaga but online. Tapos nung nag face to face na ay parang strangers lang. But guess, siguro nahihiya lang at first. Unang umupo sa tabi ko si Rhenreal at sumunod naman si Giselle. We said greeted each other and introduce ourselves, pati narin si Giselle.

Buti pa tong sina Rhenreal at Giselle ay mag-close na talaga. Ako? FOREVER ALONE!!! WHOLE SHEET OF PAPER!!!! but of course, makaka-close naman siguro ako throughout this semester. Grabe na'to kung hindi ko pa sila maging close. But I'm happy seems friendly naman sila to my first impression sa kanila in person.

After a while, nakilala ko na din yung iba. Itong katabi ko on my right side ay si Lim Almonte at katabi nito ay si Ryan Almario at sa katabi naman nito na chubby guy ay si Austine Nayle Yap. Which is si Austine ang unang nag-approach sakin to get to know at sa iba pang classmates natin around. Sa likod ko naman ay nakilala ko na din which is sila Arnil Morado, Christian Alde, Christian Salvino, Spencer Sy, at Gabriel Abellana.

4:10 pm at still waiting pa din kami sa instructor namin. My classmates are chatting with each other kaya parang nasa supermarket kami sa ingay. While me, just sitting silently and observing them. I've got to familiar each one of them this time. 

Looking into there faces tho some of them wearing mask but still I can familiar there faces now. Dumating nadin by 4:30 pm yung instructor namin na si ma'am Telen. In the middle of her discussion she said na may iba daw sa loob ng class na naki-sit in lang. 

So I'm guessing yung ibang students dito na hindi ko talaga familiar ay yun yung naka sit in lang. Our instructor discusses about the groupings, about the subject, and what to expect sa whole semester sa kanya. 

Buti nalang din during sa groupings ay nag approach si Jayden samin na kami three girls na magkakatabi ay kami nalang daw magkasama as one group since tatlo na kami. Ganoon din sa kanila na side, Jayden is group with Lawrence at sa katabi nito na, I guess kadadating din mula kanina na si Jess Dale Salazar.

Then, while ma'am Telen is explaining about the upcoming laboratory activity. May pumasok bigla sa room na lalaki, and it kinda get my attention kasi na remember ko bigla yung crush ko na thailand actor na si Bible. He just really look like the same as Bible from the ThaiDrama.

Aside sa hairstyle niya ay, maputi din siya. Kaya ayun, nasabi ko sa isip ko bigla na, "AY BET!! PEDE SIYA " :> HAHAHHAHA

Then, I'm guessing for a minute din kung sino ito. Tas some random profile picture pop us sa mind ko. That for sure, this guy must be Marcus Andino Latorre.
