My knee was shaking with anxiety as Mingyu looked over at the new scripts for this month's new wine. Minghao was pouring whiskey into three glasses that sat in front of us, "Relax Lizzy, we both know Mingyu takes his sweet ass time with this stuff." He says, placing one of the glasses on Mingyu's desk. Minghao offers me a cup, but I shake my head, "I'm not much of a drinker." I said. He smiles and nods, and a small sigh leaves my lips.

Minghao fixes his coat before sitting on the leather couch; I bite my lip and look at the bandaged knee. A light knock was heard before the door was opened; Seungkwan walked in with Mr. Choi and Wonwoo. I stood up abruptly, earning a look from Minghao and Seungkwan. I looked at Mr. Choi. "Mr. Choi, I wasn't aware of your arrival," I said, covering up my strange action by speaking formally, earning a light-hearted laugh from him. "Lizbeth, please just call me Seungcheol. It makes me feel old when you call me Mr. Choi." He says; I give him a faint smile and nod.

"Sorry, a force of habit," I said, sitting back on the couch; Minghao chuckled. "Don't worry, you'll grow out of it...eventually." He says with a wink; Seungkwan scoffs. "Yah. Don't be getting too comfortable with Lizzy, Hao," Seungkwan says, scowling at Minghao; I let out a small laugh. The five had dazed expressions; I looked at Seungkwan and Minghao. "It's okay, Seungkwan, his flirting is harmless. Not to mention Minghao, I apologize, but your tactics don't work on me that well." I said with an apologetic smile. Seungcheol and Wonwoo were laughing as Minghao pouted playfully.

Seungkwan smiles and ruffles my hair lightly; Minghao places his hand on his chest. "Wow, Lizbeth, your words, gosh." He says with a smile; I let out a small giggle. "Lizzy fits right in Seungkwan; there's no need to worry so much," Mingyu says, getting up from his desk. "I've made up my mind." He says, letting the script he picked on the coffee table. I gulp softly, and Seungkwan pats my shoulder.

Mingyu sits on the empty seat beside me; I look at the script on the table. Minghao sighed in relief, "New record, Mingyu, it took you three minutes." He says with a smirk. Mingyu pouts, "Yah, try deciding which tea set you like the most. Then you'll know how I feel when it comes to Lizzy's writing." Mingyu says, letting out a huff of breath. I smile faintly and nudge his side lightly, "I'm serious, Liz," I look at him. Liz? Is that a nickname for me? I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Lizzy was drinking with Soonyoung?" Seungkwan asked with a laugh; Mingyu, Seungcheol, and Minghao seemed perplexed. "You went out drinking with Soonyoung? Oh, you poor thing, I can't imagine how it was." Mingyu says, pulling me into his arms; I give them a confused look. "Why? It wasn't a bad experience, and I had fun, honestly." I said; Mingyu gasped and pulled away. "Really?!" He lets out, and Minghao raises his brow. "Fun? Soonyoung? Alcohol? Those words are never used together in a sentence," Minghao says, crossing his leg over the other, "Drinking with Soonyoung was fun; I don't see why you all seemed concerned about it." I said.

Seungcheol smiles and chuckles, "Wonwoo you gave them a ride home. How was Soonyoung?" Seungkwan asked. Wonwoo sat with crossed arms, "Soonyoung wasn't drunk...like how he usually gets." Wonwoo says. Our eyes glanced for a second; I looked down at my lap. "Lizzy?" I look up at Seungcheol, "What about you?" He asked. I gaze at him, confused, "Do you have plans tonight?" He asked. I let out a small sigh and left my lips, "No I don't; I probably will just spend my evening at the bookstore or cafe." I said.

Seungkwan shakes his head, and Seungcheol smiles. "Then why not join us tonight for the Christmas party." He says I look at him. I let out a small sharp exhale, "I don't..do well with parties." I said making eye contact with Seungkwan. He nods, and mouths 'It's okay', "Aww, you have to join us. We'll all be there; Soonyoung will also be there." Mingyu says with a pout. I chuckle, "I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to decline. I appreciate you guys inviting me, but I can't," I said, getting up from the couch and grabbed my phone off the coffee table.

"Well then, since the script has been selected, I'll email it to the editors to start working on the campaigns and ads," I said, looking at Mingyu. He nods, "That's great. Well then, have a safe night, Lizzy." He says with a small smile. "Good night Lizzy," they all said, except Wonwoo, who was quiet as usual. I waved at them before walking out the door, closing it behind me. A long sigh leaves my lips as I walk down the hall; I bite my lip and reach my desk to gather my things.

I type in the email that Mingyu...Mr. Kim had selected the final script for the monthly wine's promotion. Turning off the screen monitor, I grab my bookbag. My heart leaps in fear hearing Mingyu's office door opening and closing. I slip on my coat quickly; I need to leave. I grab my phone and rush to the elevators; I press the down button rapidly. I heard footsteps approaching, the doors open, and I stepped in quickly.

A small gasp escaped my lips, seeing Wonwoo holding the elevator door open; his eyes were on me like they were searching for something. "Are you okay? You seem anxious," He says, stepping inside the elevator; I fix my posture. "Yeah, just tired," I said; I pushed the first-floor button. "You seem quiet.." He says, turning his body towards me. I look at him. "Me quiet? I would say you're the one that's been quiet lately..." I said, looking back at the elevator doors as it passed the fourth floor. Wonwoo lets out a chuckle. "I'm usually quiet due to not being interested in certain topics, like business-related topics." He says my eyes watch him from the door reflection, and I nod. "I see. Well, I'm sorry for not being interested; work is busy, so I tend to stick to business topics," I said.

I look at him; Wonwoo's gaze has not left me since he had stepped foot in the elevator. "Work is work," He says; I smile faintly. "It is...which is why I decline the invitation to the party," I said as the elevator dings. I turn to walk out of the elevator; his footsteps are so close. Walking out of the building, I face Wonwoo, "You say that, but I think...I think there's a different reason why you're declining." He says. I cross my arms. Why is he curious? I bite my lip, "Okay, Mr. Surgeon what do you think the reason is?" I asked with an amused smile. Wonwoo sighs and looks around for a second, "You had bad experiences, or you have a bad habit of isolating yourself." He says.

I exhale sharply and look at him, "Bad experiences sure, isolating myself that too." I said turning to walk away. "Why isolate yourself? I mean, Soonyoung thinks you're putting yourself out there and expects you to be this bubbly person." Wonwoo says, matching my pace, "I don't isolate myself; I'm just cautious regarding people. As for Soonyoung, he knows that I probably won't make that much progress but believes that I can. I don't blame him for having exceptions." I said.

Wonwoo sighs, "Cautious...well then, I'm guessing you'll be spending this night alone since Eunseo will be joining Hansol at the party." He says. I look at him with a smile, "Why do you ask? Are you suggesting me to do something else rather than being home and sleep?" I asked. Wonwoo laughs and shakes his head, "Not necessary..." He says. I chuckle, "I'm perfectly fine being home by myself. besides, I won't be alone." I said. Wonwoo halts, "You won't?" He asked. I shake my head, "Nope, I have my books to keep me company." I said, letting a laugh slip my lips. Wonwoo smiles and chuckles, "Well then, here we are." He says, looking at the apartment complex.

I sigh softly, "I hope you have a fun night with everyone else and stay sober." I said. Wonwoo smiles and nods, "Have a good night," He says as I make my way to the doors. I wave at him before entering the complex; I guess he did walk me home. Seungkwan probably asked him, too, knowing him and how quick he is when realizing a connection. But it was sweet of Wonwoo to obey Seungkwan's request.
