When Neptune Black first met Harry Potter he had assumed the boy was muggleborn. With his dirty muggle hand-me down clothes, his messy hair and how he carried himself. He was also only looking at a book only a muggleborn would choose.
Neptune spotted no signs of adults near the boy. Maybe he was like him? Parentless.

"I'd get the codex of magical animals, you'll find that most Wizarding history is in text books for school." The skinny boy jumped and turned around at the stranger.
"Um, thank you..?" The boy was asking for Neptune's name. Neptune highly doubted he should give it. Most people ran away in tears when they even came into contact with Neptune's cold grey eyes. But this boy had stayed. Maybe he was worthy of Neptune's name.

"Neptune Black." Neptune held his hand out for the boy to take. "Harry Potter." The boy said timidly. Neptune's eyebrows raised.

"If you're Harry Potter then why are you wearing that?" Neptune asked, pointing at Harry's disgusting clothes. "Oh, I live with my muggle relatives."

Abuse?

"Where's your guardian for Hogwarts?" Neptune asked, looking around for someone like Dumbledore. "Um, Hagrid left to go drink." Harry said shamefully. Neptune shook his head, unapproving.
"Would you like to shop with me?" Neptune asked, raising a dark eyebrow.
"Sure!" Harry smiled wickedly. "Let's go get you some proper clothes."

Harry paid for his books and they left next door to Madem Malkin's. "Hello, Madem, Harry here needs his Hogwarts robes and a full wardrobe." Neptune said everything for Harry.

No one was in the back, just the two black haired boys.

"For the full set, get me colors of dark green, dark blue, blue, green, black and whatever color Harry wants." And with that Neptune left to the front of the store.
The grey eyed boy wanted premade robes for Harry to wear. He looked in what would be his size and went through the colors and shoes.

Neptune had decided on green robes with silver trim and a pair of black shoes.
"Here, where these." Neptune gave Harry the robes and shoes, motioning for Harry to go change. Neptune decided to pay for Harry's outfit and Harry payed for the rest. "Come back in an hour sweetums."

Neptune then took Harry to get his hair cut and trimmed. "You need to resemble the Potter family and although the Potter's are notorious for messy hair, You look like a muggle. So, haircut." When they walked into the store, Harry talked for himself for once. "Can I get a hair cut please? One to make me look more like a Pure blood Potter." Harry said to the man. "Your Harry Potter?" The man asked, gasping. "Yes. Don't gasp in the face of gratefulness fools, he needs a hair cut." Neptune sapped, looking at the man with his deep grey eyes. "Of course, a hair cut for the best wizard around coming right up." The man took Harry to the back and Neptune sat in a chair and waited, twirling his wand.

He had gotten it at a different store, a store besides Olivanders. This store made it able for you to do magic outside of Hogwarts. Neptune's wand was made of Alder wand wood, had a dark Phoenix feather and. It was nine inches long.

When Harry came out, Neptune couldn't help but look surprised. Harry's hair hadn't been cut but yet tamed. It lay on his head smoothly in fell in a middle part, curling on the side a little bit.

"You look just like your family name now, Harry." Neptune complimented, giving Harry a good look. Harry paid for the new look and the potion that was used to do that to his hair and they were out.

They stopped and bought their potions products, Harry making a disgusted face. "Potions is for the very wise wizard Harry, it's best to learn it." Harry nodded at that, not wanting to seem weak.

Then they went to the Astronomy/Astrological store.

Neptune was like a kid in a candy store, making sure Harry had at least six books on astronomy and five books on astrology. Neptune bought Harry the best working telescope, with four extra lenses.

They stopped for lunch at the ice cream parlor, Harry insisting he pay after Neptune bought a fifty gallon telescope.

"So, you live with muggles." Neptune started, trying to dig deeper on Harry's home life. "Do they treat you well?" He asked, trying to be as open as possible.
Harry didn't know if he could trust Neptune. He had bought Harry all these things and made sure Harry didn't look weak. Maybe he deserved an explanation. "No, not really." Harry said at last. Thats all Neptune needed.
"You'll come live with me." Neptune said, his grey eyes sincere and absolute.

"Live with you?" Harry asked, spluttering. "Yeah, I live alone with my two house elf's and my animals." Neptune explained.
"You live alone? What are house elf's?" Harry asked, confused. "I got emancipated when my grandmother died. And house elf's are like old, rich wizards helpers. They clean the house and help do chores." Neptune explained calmly. "So would you like to come live with me? I get dreadfully bored at times and would like a friend."
"Friend?" Harry asked, cocking his head to the side. "Yes, friends. You live with me, I teach you how to have proper manners and wizarding culture and best of all, we'd be friends." Neptune proposed. "Yeah, I would love that." Harry said, smiling like he had just been given the whole world.

Next they bought Harry's trunk. "The black family has its own trunks that are better then what any store can give you. I have some at home I can give you." Neptune said, as they walked pasted the store. "Thank you." Harry said, gratefuly. "This has been the best birthday ever." That stopped Neptune and Harry In the middle of the street.

"It's your birthday?" Neptune asked, looking at Harry skeptically. "Um, yes." Harry was very confused. "I have to buy you a gift. Go to the tiny store at the end of the alley. "It's called Bin's Wand shop. You'll get your wand there. I have to go buy you a gift." And with that Neptune shoved Harry in the direction of the wand shop.

Neptune thought he should get Harry a pet for Hogwarts. Normally they only allowed Owls, Toads, or Cat but there were small things you could bring. Harry seemed like the kind of guy to enjoy snakes. So, Neptune went to the snake section.

He looked for about ten minutes until he found one. It was about average length, three feet, and on it's cage it read.
Two year old paradise tree snake.
The snake was a beautiful shade of green with orange colored diamonds around the back. It reminded him of Harry.

The tag said it was venoms and that it came from East Asia. "How much?" Neptune asked, raising the cage up. "Seventy two gallons for that thing, just had him emported last night." Neptune sighed and dug out the money, thinking Harry better be grateful for it. He bought a cage and some dead mice for it and left.

He met Harry out side the wand shop. "Surprise!" Neptune said with a blank face. "It's a snake! I love snakes!" Harry gushed, taking the cage and setting it down on a nearby bench.
Neptune heard the snake hisss, he wasn't going to say anything until he heard Harry hiss back.

"I didn't know you speak parseltoung." Neptune said, thoroughly shocked. "Speak what?" Harry asked, looking up from the cage. "The language of snakes. It's a very rare ability. Be proud about it." Neptune gave Harry a bump on the shoulder.

"So what you gonna name 'em." Neptune asked, rasing his eyebrow toward his friend. "He says his name is Aoi." Harry said, looking from his snake to his friend.

"Well, lets go pick up everything and then we can head on to the mannor." Neptune took charge towards Madem Malkin's. "So what kind of wand did you get?" Neptune asked, as they walked to the clothes shop.
"I got holly wood, lightning Phoenix feather, and it was eleven inches. What about you?" Harry asked, passing the Astronomy store, noticing the glint in Neptune's eye's. "I got a nice inch wand made of Alder with dark Phoenix." They reached Madem Malkin's, Neptune letting Harry go in first with his snake, Aoi.

"We're here to get our clothes for me, Harry." Harry said, going up towards Madem Malkin. "Of course, let me go in the back." Madem Malkin went into the back and came back an enchanted box full of clothes. "Can you shrink the box for me, Malkin? We already have to carry the snake." Neptune asked, looking at Miss Malkin. "Of course dear. The plump witch took out her wand and shrink the box, Neptune putting it in Harry's pocket.

Once they were outside of the store, Neptune showed Harry how to key portal. "My heir ring takes me right to the house, all I have to say is a special word and we pop there, you'll have to hold onto my arm." Harry did as he was told, getting ready to pop.

A twist in his gust happens and the next Harry knew he was standing in someone's drive way.
