CHAPTER 01

"Class dismiss and goodbye students." sabi ng Professor namin.

Niligpit ko ang aking gamit sa akin bag. Hay! Salamat weekend na naman makaka pahinga ako saglit.

" Reign! Halika kana! Bilis! Punta tayo sa Mall!" sigaw ni Margie sa'kin.

Tumingin ako sa kanya. Ngiting-ngiti siya sa akin. Mahilig kasi siya sa movie kaya kada weekend lagi niya akong hinihikayat na samahan siya, libre niya naman kaya sinamahan ko siya. Pero sa ngayon, pass muna ako.

"Sorry Margie, pass muna ako. May family dinner kasi kami mamaya, maybe next time?" paumanhin ko sa kanya.

Nag aanyaya kasi si Mommy mag dinner, kasi they're busy from their work,so this time they have a free time kaya nagdecide siya na mag family bonding atleast.

Margie pouted but suddenly smiled.

" Okay, i understand, next time na lang . Si Ely na lang ayain ko, baka hindi busy. Enjoy!" she said. Yinakap niya ako at nakipag-beso.

"Thanks and enjoy also!" i said. I wave for goodbye and umalis na ako.

It's already 4:26 pm and I saw the sun sets. Maraming estudyante na ang papalabas ng Unibersidad kaya medyo nagmadali ako kasi baka mahirapan akong sumakay ng bus. May private vehicle naman kami but I prefer na mag commute para maexperience ko atleast ang ganitong estado sa buhay. Well I'm the only daughter in my family and may kaya naman kami but hindi kami maarte sa ganitong bagay.

I'm already here walking on the hallway, when my phone suddenly rang.I stopped. Kinapa ko ito sa aking bulsa. At napatingin ako sa screen ng phone.

I plastered ang smile in my face when i saw calling whose to me.

Lucas calling...

Lucas is my long time boyfriend.We are childhood sweetheart. Since elementary days magkakilala na kami. And when we are Grade 8, he confessed and starts to court me. Until we are grade 9, I said yes to him on his birthday.

I smiled when i remembered those cheesey and memorable years. I swap the screen upward to answer the call.
At nilagay ko sa aking kanang tenga.

"Hi Babe! How's your day?" he greet and chuckled.

"I'm fine. Ikaw ba?" I asked.

I continue walking in the hallway, while i'm talking to him. I heard some noise behind the call.

"And where are you?" i asked again curiously.

I checked my wallet inside my bag. Kukuha kasi ako ng exact amount sa pambayad ko sa bus.

" I'm fine also, and uhm.. I'm with Luther right here in his house.., well he invites me here to grab some drinks." he answered.

I waited near the gate para sa bus na paparating. I sighed.

" Okay, just don't drink to much kasi magd-drive ka pauwi." paalala ko sa kanya.

" Yes po Ma'am" he playfully said.

I laughed because of what I've heard from him. I saw a bus na pauwi sa amin.And I wave my hand to the conductor of the bus.

"Baliw!" I fired back.

When the bus stopped, I jumped inside the bus and find a vacant seat. Buti na lang nauna ako sa bus nakasakay dahil marami na ang gustong umuwi sa ganitong oras.

He laughed.

We continue our conversation inside the bus. He tells me what happened on his day and I am also. He also said that his friend, Luther is heart-broken kaya nag anyaya makipag-inuman sa kanya. Natawa na lang ako kasi nagd-drunk call na daw ang kaibigan niya.
