Natalie

"Wake up, Natalie!"

I groaned as I felt a weight on top of me.

"No," I moaned in protest.

"You better wake up, or else Aries will not be happy with you," the voice said again.

At the mention of Aries' name, my eyes opened immediately, and I tried to sit up as quickly as possible. Again I felt a weight on top of me.

I managed to look around, finally locating the source of my discomfort. Lily was lying on top of me, a broad smile plastered on her face.

"Morning, Natalie," she chanted.

"Morning Lily. How are you?" I asked sleepily.

"I am good now that you are awake. Against Aries' orders, of course," she said as she rolled her eyes with a smirk.

Maybe she just knew I wouldn't have answered her quicker if she hadn't mentioned Aries.

I frowned at the statement.

"What do you mean 'against Aries' orders'?" I inquired.

"Aries ordered that no one should wake you up nor disturb you. He even threatened to tear my head off if I disobeyed," she said, giggling with one of her fingers pointing to her head so I could get the perfect description.

Funny, I looked at her like she had grown a second head.

"Then what in God's name are you doing here, Lily? Do you want to annoy him?" I almost shouted, trying to explain my point.

She simply giggled again.

I was now beginning to think there was something really wrong with her. How could she be giggling when her life was in danger?

What is this girl's deal?

"Relax, Natalie, my life is not in danger," she said, rolling her eyes at me.

I frowned at her. It was almost as if she had read my mind, which I knew was impossible since she was human, or maybe I didn't guess correctly.

"You think too much, Natalie; Chill, Hun. I won't tell him if you don't," she said, wiggling her eyebrows. And besides, Aries went out, so do not worry.

I chuckled at this. She was so cute.

"So go take a shower, and come and have lunch with me," she said, getting off the bed.

My eyes grew wide.

"Lunch?" I questioned, praying that she was joking.

"Yes. Well, ignoring the fact that it is almost nighttime. And by the way, check your closet," she said and walked out.

I sighed, absorbing her words. I decided to take a shower. After showering, I opened some of the cupboards in the bathroom. I was trying to locate a comb to remove the knots in my hair.

I was surprised to find it stocked with new hair accessories. Hairdryers, curling irons, and all types and sizes of combs or brushes.

I decided to straighten my hair, something I hadn't done in a long time. It's not like my previous situation had allowed me.

Afterwards, I walked out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel. I went to the closet, and when I opened it. I almost fainted. The once-empty closet was stocked with clothes, shoes and accessories. As I ran my hands through my clothes, I realised they were mostly similar. It consisted mainly of short pleated schoolgirl skirts, small tight t-shirts and shirts. I walked further into the closet and saw many pairs of knee-high socks in hundreds of colours.
