Not drugs, not even sex, but success. Success is more intoxicating than anything I've ever experienced. It drives me, it pushes me, but most of all... it never disappoints me.
Currently I'm the most successful I've ever been. I have a high paying job that I love, a nice apartment and a nice car. I mean shit, I'm currently laying next to some naked woman in her bed. And no I don't know her name. But I do know we had amazing sex last night. I also know I never have to see her again after I leave.

I quietly get up and try to find my clothes, but sadly she wakes up before I could make my full escape-

I actually have no idea what this woman does for a living, and I don't stay long enough to find out. I hear her saying something as I close the door behind me but ignore it seeing as I actually do have to go.
After a quick coffee stop I make it to the hospital with just enough time to change into my scrubs. Sadly my coworker Sebastian was also in the locker/changing room. He's a great doctor don't get me wrong, he just has certain character traits that can be... annoying.

I sigh before closing my locker and making my way to the operating room my surgery is in. Sebastian follows close behind me, he's one of the other surgeons who will be helping me today. Thankfully he knows how to maintain professionalism when we are working. I definitely couldn't handle his childishness 24/7.
