Belief...

The Devil.

Such a universal topic. But the meaning always seem to revolve around evil.
Whether he being the embodiment of evil or a harbinger of all that is wrong...it's still feared as if it's a true thing on this plane of existence.
The same goes for God (or God's), just with good or purity.

I guess people believe in such things because they need hope. Hope that the world isn't a cruel place that goes on its own merits not what ethereal beings want it to.

But it all comes down to belief...
If you can make enough people believe that one thing is true, then that thing now has power.
Perhaps religious beings were real than they would be tulpas.
Tulpa's, at least by my definition, are words, beliefs, or even objects that have been given a manifestation through the sheer amount of people that believe.
Yes this is incredibly broad and possibly not even close to the original definition...

But that isn't the point. The point is that if you can get enough people to believe that something exists than technically it's been given a manifestation.

Perhaps this makes no sense and I'm just rambling on about things that don't matter. Maybe you're right...but just humor me and continue.

In a way this makes beings such as the Devil, God, or Kali exist but just in a different way...

This also means that belief gives words power. Not in the same way as tulpas however at least not entirely...
Convince enough people to believe that "quip" is a bad word than, sooner or later, it will be almost as bad as fuck or cunt.

Words are only as bad as you believe them to be meaning they can be used to empower, such as Martin Luther King 's I Have a Dream speech, or they can be used to demean, such as all of Hitler's speeches during his horrific time on the planet we all share.

Basically the world is almost entirely run off of belief...
Either belief of no god, a god, god's, or whatever you wish.

Maybe I'm wrong or maybe we're all wrong.

After all we are all petty little humans all living on one planet. Humans that seem to take more than what we can give back...
