Sylvia stumbled around the trailer she shared with her brother and uncle. The loud strums of heavy metal echoing throughout their home, while she frantically searched for her uniform.

She finally found it stuffed under her bed, yanking it out and throwing it on. Sylvia stumbled out of her room, rushing to push her way into her brothers bedroom.

"Eddie!" She yelled, trying to gain his attention but failing. "Eddie!" She called again, but louder this time.

Eddie glanced up from his guitar, pausing to glance up at her. "Why are you still here?"

"What do you mean?" Sylvia questioned with a puzzled look.

"Haven't you looked at the time?" Eddie pressed.

Sylvia let out a huff, her eyes flitting to her brothers desk and reading the clock. She was late.

"Fuck. I'm like 3 hours late." She cursed rushing out of the room. "Ed, drive me to work or I'll tell Wayne about your side hustle!" She called out from behind her, pushing herself out onto the front porch. She heard the sound of Eddie's rushed footsteps following after her.

"You wouldn't?" He questioned.

"Just drive me to work." She retorted. "Please."

"Fine." Eddie grumbled. "Come on."

The pair hopped into his truck, swiftly pulling out of the trailer park and towards Starcourt. The sound of Metallica humming through the radio.

Sylvia basically ran through the mall, brushing past people. She almost knocked over a child as she entered Scoops.

She instantly spotted Robin stood behind the counter with headphones pressed tightly over her head. A girl was stood ringing the bell repetitively trying to gain the Buckley teens attention.

Sylvia let out a breath, throwing her bag behind the counter and reaching to gently pull the headphones from the girls head.

Robin turned instantly, a smile stretching across her face at the sight of the Munson teen.

"I thought you were skipping today." Robin teased.

"Nope, just didn't realise the time." Sylvia smiled, before hitting her thumb towards the counter. "Seems like we have a customer."

Robin lets out a sigh, the two girls turning to face the young customer.

"I'd like to try the peanut butter chocolate swirl, please." The girl asked with an 'innocent' smile.

"No," Robin smirks, shaking her head. "No more samples today."

"Why not?" The girl urges.

"Because you're abusing our company policy." Robin retorts.

"Where's the sailor man?" She questions.

"Sorry sweetheart, he can't help you." Sylvia shakes her head.

"He's busy." Robin continues.
