Chapter 3: To Domino City!

*9:36am*

*SLAM!*

"USAGI!! Wake up!! You were supposed to be awake thirty minutes ago!! The bus is already here to pick you up to go to Domino City!!," Ikuko yelled out as she slammed the door open to Usagi's bedroom. She immediately ran into the room and picked all her luggage and brought them downstairs, nearly tripping every step. How on earth could Usagi oversleep on her most important day?! Even she felt terrible for doing so.

"EH?!? NONONO- Dammit it just had to be today-!! No time to complain! I gotta get myself dressed up!"

Meatball Head threw herself out of bed and quickly went straight to the bathroom to take a shower, which probably only lasted around four minutes. A world record of the fastest shower she had ever taken! Everything she did took within minutes like drying hair, styling it, skin care, and lots more. Luckily, Usagi had her outfit ready for this which consisted: black short skirt overalls, a puffy white blouse, a pair of simple white socks, and her favorite laced up combat boots for this special occasion! Of course, also in black.

"Eh, this will do! Oh crap! I have to get my deck ready and my glove for the tournament tonight!"

Usagi ran over to her drawers and carefully took out her cards. Luckily, Duel Monster cards aren't as weak as she previously thought, however she still placed them in an extra protected deck case made of glass. The two cards she received from Pegasus' package were the cards needed to participate and as well where the transportation will be provided for the tournament. Usagi even polished the glove because she actually thought it looked pretty badass. She then took the two star chips and added them to the glove.

"Okay, I think that's everything. I'll wear my glove when I get to Domino City. I better get going now; the bus could leave at any moment!"

As walked out if her bedroom, Usagi took one final look at it and many warm memories came back to her mind. Times where she and her friends all stayed there whether for sleepovers, study sessions, or planning fun hangouts. Ami always being the head of the study sessions, but still did her best to make it seem as tolerable as possible; and somehow worked as it was actually fun sometimes. Rei talking about the latest news on popular topics they liked, and having many funny arguments with Minako about them. Makoto sharing her new recipes and even bringing in her home-cooked meals for all of them to share. As well when Chibiusa was still around, as annoying she may have been at times, she and Usagi enjoyed each other's company. They played lots of games together and talked whenever they wanted. After all the fighting, it just felt nice simply relaxing with her friends there.

"Hang in there guys, I'll make sure to bring you all back!," she thought as she finally closed the door.

Usagi quickly walked down the stairs and headed towards the kitchen where Ikuko was packing her breakfast since it was too late to eat at the moment.

"Oh Usagi I can't believe you're going now! I know we'll still be visiting you but it'll feel kind of lonely now that you won't be around here anymore," Ikuko remarked as she placed the breakfast into a separate bag. "Here, eat your breakfast on your way to Domino City in the bus. I also added enough money in your purse in case you need to buy anything else. Once you get with your Uncle Sugoroku, he'll be responsible to providing the rest of your needs. He promises to take good care of you!"

"Thank you Mom! Also, I'm sorry you have to do all of this simply because I'm doing bad in school... if only I were smarter in some way.."

Ikuko shook her head and proceeded to embrace Usagi within her arms.

"Don't apologize. I know you gave your best shot so it's good to know you at least tried. Please do well in your new school, my bunny. Your father and I will visit you whenever we can."
