Chapter 7: Loss and Heartbreak (TW)

I kept looking at Neytiri's belly and kissing it. "Daddy loves you my child" I said. Neytiri smiled. Later that night, Neytiri woke up screaming in pain. I shot up and said "what is it!?" She said "something is wrong! My stomach!" Neytiri was bleeding. I called Ronal and said "something is wrong with my wife" Ronal said "let me check her out" I stepped outside. Ronal said "I'm sorry" Neytiri said "what for, what's wrong" Ronal called me back in and said "your child, she's gone, I'm sorry" me and Neytiri were in shock before I saw Neytiri burst into tears as so did I. Ronal said "I need to do a procedure to remove your child" Neytiri said "she's still in my belly?" Ronal said "yes, your baby is still your tummy but she's gone" Me and Neytiri held eachother and sobbed and I said "do the procedure, but I'm not leaving her side" Ronal nodded in agreement. She did the procedure and our child was out, Ronal said "would you like to hold her" Neytiri nodded, Ronal handed Neytiri our child. Ronal said "take as much time as you need, I'll be outside" Neytiri said "I'm sorry" I said "don't apologize, you did nothing wrong" I kissed her on her forehead and said "I'm here" I climbed in the bed with her. I said "Eywa will take care of her now" i nuzzled my face into her neck and Ronal walked in and said "are you ready" Neytiri said "what are you gonna do with her?" Ronal said "wrap her up gently and put her in a little box and you can keep her if you want" Neytiri looked at me, I nodded. I said "she'll always be with us" Neytiri cried into me and said "what did I do wrong? I killed our baby" I said "No! You didn't do anything wrong! You did not kill her, don't blame yourself" Neytiri said "stay" I held her and said "I'm not leaving you, ever". The next day, Neytiri stayed in our hut and I went out hunting. Lo'ak and Tsireya were in the water. "I'm sorry about your mom" Tsireya said. Lo'ak said "it's sad, really sad" Lo'ak put his hand on Tsireya's stomach, "I'll take care of our child". That night, Ronal said "Do you need anything?" Neytiri said "no Thank you, I'm fine, thanks" Ronal said "I know this must be hard for you two" Neytiri said "yeah, it is, but we are strong, we will get through this... somehow" Ronal said "How is he?" Neytiri said "hurting, hurting a lot". I came in and said "I see you Ronal" Ronal said "I see you Jake" Ronal said "I'll leave you two". Ronal left. We sat in silence for a while, i said "we'll get through this, I promise". Neytiri said "I don't know what I'd do without you" she nuzzled her face in my neck. I held her and said "you don't have to worry about that, I'm always gonna be here". I kissed her on the forehead and we fell asleep. The next morning, Ronal said "how you feeling?" I said "fine". I passed out, Ronal said "jake!" She brought me into the hut, "TONOWARI!" She exclaimed, He ran to his wife and said "yes" she said "he passed out". Tonowari said "jake sully can you hear me?" Lo'ak came in and said "what happened?" Tonowari said "he passed out". I opened my eyes and said "what happened?" Ronal said "you passed out, here drink this". I drank what she gave me. "My Jake! Are you alright?" Neytiri said hugging me, I said "I passed out". Ronal said "probably from stress". We went in our hut and fell asleep.
