A young man sat alone on a quiet beach, gazing out at the long river. The wind, though gentle, brushed against his face, offering a momentary calm.
"Winter, where are you?" he murmured, pulling out his phone. As he scrolled through pictures of himself and Winter, memories of their time together flooded back. There they were, laughing and enjoying ice cream at the park. His heart ached with the weight of her absence.
It had been nearly two weeks since Winter disappeared, and he had no idea where she was. His mind raced with possibilities. He had a nagging suspicion that she might be with the Enhypen gang, an offshoot of the Hybe clan—one of their most formidable enemies.
He clenched his fists in frustration. Enhypen was known for their ruthlessness, and Winter's kidnapping seemed too coincidental. Just before her abduction, he had been attacked by them and Winter had found him bruised. Lee Soman, their boss, had long warned them of his strained relationship with the Hybe clan leader, and Haechan had been assigned to keep Winter safe at college. Before this Minseok also had warned them about this. Clearly, something had gone wrong.
His brow furrowed as he recalled seeing Jay from Enhypen approach Winter in the library. The pieces were falling into place, and he feared for her safety.
"I can't let them hurt her," he said resolutely, standing up from the bench. He adjusted his cap and zipped his black jacket up to his chin, hiding his face. Haechan made his way to the NCT 127 headquarters, determined to rally his team.

At the NCT 127 headquarters, Mark greeted Haechan as he walked through the door.
"Hey, Haechan! Where have you been?" Mark asked.
"Oh, hey Mark. Where is everyone else?" Haechan replied, scanning the room for his members.
"They're all in the house, working on various tasks. What's up?" Mark inquired.
"I need to discuss something important with everyone. It's about Winter. I have a theory about who might be behind her kidnapping," Haechan said, his face serious.
"Calm down, man," Mark said, wrapping an arm around Haechan's shoulders and guiding him to the couch. "I'll call the others."
Mark sent a message to the group chat, summoning the members to the living room. One by one, they assembled. Johnny and Taeyong took their seats, eyes focused on Haechan.
"What's going on?" Johnny asked.
"Yeah, what's up?" Taeyong added.
"I believe I've figured out who kidnapped Winter," Haechan began, his voice tense. "I suspect it's the Enhypen gang."
Taeyong's expression turned grave. "Tell us everything you know."
Haechan relayed the details of his suspicions, explaining the connection between Enhypen and the Hybe clan, their recent activities, and Winter's last known interactions with them.
"Alright, if what you're saying is true, we need to revise our plan," Taeyong said, standing up. His gaze swept over his team. "I'm assigning new tasks. If you need backup, let me know, and I'll arrange it."
"Understood," the members responded.
"Here's the plan: Haechan, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo will track Enhypen and locate their headquarters. Mark, Winwin, and Doyoung, you'll analyze the CCTV footage to trace their movements. The rest of you will restock our weapons and medical supplies. We need to be prepared for any scenario," Taeyong instructed.
The group nodded in agreement. Taeyong's stern warning about the Enhypen gang's cunning and strength hung in the air.
"Don't let your guard down. They're dangerous, especially their leader. Be careful," Taeyong added.
"I hope she's alright," Haechan said quietly, breaking the tense silence.
"Don't worry. Winter is strong. We'll get her back," Doyoung said, trying to offer reassurance. Despite not knowing Winter personally, they had all heard about her through Taeyong and Haechan.
"We will get her back," Johnny affirmed, giving Taeyong a reassuring pat on the back.
"Yeah, we know she's tough. Let's focus on the mission," Taeyong said, exhaling deeply. "Alright, let's get to work!"

Five days later, the team gathered in the meeting room. They had gathered crucial information: Winter had indeed been taken by the Enhypen gang.
Mark, Winwin, and Doyoung had managed to restore the hacked CCTV footage, revealing the gang's movements, with help from Karina. Haechan, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo had tracked Enhypen to their headquarters, hidden behind the En-store.
"We're ready to make our move tonight," Taeyong said, addressing the team. "Prepare all necessary equipment. Mark, you'll stay behind with Winwin to hack into the En-store's CCTV system and delay it as much as possible. Doyoung will work on breaching the entrance."
"Yuta, Haechan, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and I will hide in the mall until it closes. Taeil will assist Mark and Winwin with the medical supplies," Taeyong continued. "Johnny, prepare the getaway car. We attack when I give the signal."
Mark distributed earpieces and everyone checked their equipment. They dressed in casual clothing to blend in and planned to change later to avoid drawing attention.
"Gather around!" Taeyong called, extending his hand. The team joined hands in a show of solidarity.
"We can do this. This is a major mission, so let's handle it well and bring Winter back home!" Taeyong encouraged.
"Let's get her back and show her how much fun it is to be part of our team," Jungwoo said excitedly.
"I'm sure she'll be great," Haechan added confidently. The group laughed, easing some of the tension.
"One! Two! Three! Fighting!" they all shouted together, their hands raised in unison.
