(a bit ooc, but that should be expected at this point. TheMysterious_Taria   )

Doc was renowned for working impossibly fast, efficiently, and more over strangely. Not just anyone could have a pet dragon after all. On the other side though, he also over worked himself. Enter Ren.

"Doc, my man, you need to get out of here," he complained to his boyfriend,"We haven't hung out in what feels like months!"

Doc chuckled,"Don't be dramatic, we got coffee together last week."

"Yes! Last week! You've been here ever since, you need something else to do!" Ren groaned, arms wrapped dramatically around Doc's shoulders.

Doc laughed again, glancing lovingly down at the dog man,"I just need to place a few more repeaters then we'll go do something, okay?"

Ren grumbled but nodded, stepping outside. He looked up, the walls of the pit obscuring his line of sight. It almost looked prison-like. His tail swayed uneasily.

"We ready to go?" Ren jumped, turning back to the tall creeperman. His face flushed.

"Yep! Why don't we go get lunch? I'm starved," Ren suggested, equipping his wings.

They ended up at Scarland, as it was the only place that Ren could think of that served food. They walked down main street, soon walking into a little cafe.

Doc (I nearly wrote "Cod". I'm going to hell for this.) Walked behind the counter, soon followed by the sounds of Chica in the kitchen. He returned with two plates.

"Here we go! I'll message Scar about it later," Doc said, placing the plate before Ren.

The ate mostly in silence, after all who eats with their mouth full? Fiends. Ren finished, pushing his empty plate away,"Dude?"

His boyfriend hummed,"do you have any hobbies? All I've seen you really do is work on projects and occasionally prank people."

"It depends on your definition of hobby, I consider my work to be a sort of hobby!" Doc exclaims, as if proud.

Ren glared,"That's work, my dude, not a hobby. You need something to do other than work."

Doc smiled lovingly at his partner,"Okay man, what hobby would you suggest?"

Ren hummed, staring off into space. Is face suddenly brightened,"Why don't you try crocheting with me!"

***

Doc huffed, dropping the hook onto his lap,"How do you do this!? It makes no sense!"

Ren wrapped an arm around his boyfriends waist,"It's okay, so crocheting isn't for you. Why don't we try baking? You already know how to cook to it should be pretty simple to get started with it!"

"I'd much prefer to just go back to work, Ren,"Doc sighed, returning the side hug Ren had started.

Ren glanced up at him with dejected eyes,"But you're always working..."

"Baking it is then."

Ren jumped up and led Doc to his kitchen, Doc followed his, maybe too excited, boyfriend. Ren pulled up a box of cards and began thumbing through them.

"Here we go! This one's pretty simple so it shouldn't be too difficult as a first try!" Ren decided, dropped a card down onto the counter. "Molasses Cookies."

(I'm doing the directions by memory. Just trust me.)

"We'll need to collect the ingredients first!" Ren said, walking to a shelf of food stuff. Doc glanced at the card again and went to the fridge. Soon the counter was covered in ingredients.

"Cream the butter and sugars!" Ren said as he poured different powders into a separate bowl.

"Cream?"

Ren realized the confusion and restated,"mix them until fluffy, use the hand mixed."

Doc followed the direction, taking said hand mixer and mixing together both the sugars and the butter, he glanced at Ren once done,"Now molasses and egg, we'll mix everything together once that is done."

Again, he followed the direction. Ren looked ecstatic that Doc was engaging in something he enjoyed. Doc smiled softly and presented the mixed ingredients to Ren.

"I'll finish mixing, why don't you line the pan? It'll make it easier for when the cookies come out!" Ren grinned, setting the mixer to a low setting and slowly adding the dry ingredients to the wets. Doc turned to the pan Ren had gotten out.

He looked at the parchment paper Ren had also gotten out, presumably for lining,"and I just get enough to cover the pan, right?"

"Yeah! Technically we don't have to but we already have to clean enough as it is." Ren said decidedly.

Doc lined the pan and the mixed stopped soon after," Now we just place the cookies, why don't you go sit down while I do this? Otherwise we'll just be in each others ways."

Doc nodded and walked to the other room.

"So, what do you think of our handiwork?" Ren asked, legs layed across Doc's on the sofa.

"They're pretty good," Doc decided,"But I don't think I'll ever sit and make them myself."

Ren sighed,"guess we'll have to look into getting you a different hobby."

Doc rubbed the bridge of his nose, excepting we wasn't getting out of this without something to do that wasn't work.
