Okay that's creepy asf. I know exactly who it is too. And since I know who it is I know that this number isn't his. So if the cops traced it the number would probably belong to some random old dude he stole a phone from. This has happened at least 3 times since I broke up with him a few years ago.

His name is Sabian. We were semi considered highschool sweethearts. We met freshman year, got together at the start of junior year, and stayed together until I broke things off when I was 22 and about a 2 years into college. Trust me it was very difficult to get out of that relationship. He didn't show his true colors until I was in too deep. But not deep enough obviously because I'm away from him now with a restraining order. It's not much, but it's all the courts would give me.

"Okay! I brought you chicken tenders, mashed potatoes with gravy on the side just in case, macaroni and cheese, a biscuit, and a chocolate chip cookie. Also an assortment of sauces because I don't know what you like." Sanders said. I immediately broke out of my trance and quickly put my phone back in my pocket before looking at him with a thankful smile.

"Oh my god you are a life saver! Thank you so so much. How would you like me to repay you? I work at a coffee shop just up the road, so maybe you can come by in the morning for a free coffee? I have a certain amount of points to use there that the college gives us so I can just use them for you." I suggested to him while I dove into my macaroni. Mac n' cheese is my second favorite food ever.

"Actually I think I'll take you up on that offer. As long as you aren't using your own money to pay for it." He answered back.

"The payment we give for room and board pays for the points, so it's not directly my money but I technically did contribute." I said with a mouth full of mac n' cheese.

"I guess that's okay then. I get a free meal for being at the level I am, so maybe you could come here to get dinner?" He proposed as he laughed slightly at my lack of table manners. I didn't exactly grow up in the best of places with the best of parents.

"Would you like me to walk you back to your dorm? My shift is over anyway." Sanders said as he locked the door behind us.

"Uh. If you wouldn't mind I'd appreciate that forever." I responded nervously. I made sure he didn't see the message from Sabian. I mean I just met the guy so I don't need him worrying about me when he might not even stick around for that long. I've only known him for a few hours, so he doesn't know that I can be a very difficult person to be around.

"It's not a problem at all! I'd like to think we are now friends, and I want my friends to be safe. That is if you'd like to be friends." He reassured me.

"Of course I'd like to be friends! Lets go now though, it's way too cold for my liking." I said as I started fast walking to the intersection to press the button. I know it's late and there's probably going to be no cars, but anything can happen and I don't want to risk it. Sanders just follows closely behind me seemingly focused on taking in our surroundings and memorizing which way I go.

I must be super lucky tonight because we only had to wait about 20 seconds until the stickman told us to cross. When I got to the other side I quickly turned around to make sure he was still there. He was, and I ran right into him.

"Woah, are you okay? Why'd you turn around so fast?" He asked with concern in his voice.

"Yeah I'm fine, I was just making sure you were still there before I walked off." I am so embarrassed right now.

"I can hold your hand so you know I'm there if you want?" He petitioned. Y'know what? Hell yeah you can hold my hand. That was smooth as hell. Bro got hella rizz as the youngins would say (as if I'm not part of these youngins' generation).

"That would be nice." I said with a smile, but quickly turning away once he took my hand because I know for a fact I am red. It might be dark but I still feel like he'd be able to see the absolute tomato my face has become. A beet if you will. "Crimson red" as the lord and savior Bob Ross would say.

I keep on walking straight making sure to keep my pace slower than usual. I normally walk very fast when I go home because of you know who (Sabian). I can see a silhouette up ahead and subconsciously squeeze Sanders' hand. This grabs his attention as it would anyone with nerves in their hand.

"It's okay. I've got you." He said reassuringly while pulling me closer and putting an arm around my shoulders. I'm too paranoid to even react the way I normally would. As we approach the silhouette I get more and more nervous. Sanders can tell too because he holds me tighter and pulls me to the opposite side of this mystery person. When we are just about to pass them I hear a familiar voice say: "He will find you. It doesn't matter who tries to protect you. He will always win." After they say that the person walks the opposite way of us and disappears onto a back road.

"What does he mean by that?" Sanders asks.
