Chapter 38

~Next morning~
As Shirabu walked down to the kitchen, he heard his parents talking.

"I really want to get to know Hachiro better. He seems like a sweet boy." He heard his mother say. "I suppose so. He seems like he's from a decent family as well." His father added on.

"Good morning?" Shirabu says as he walks into the kitchen. "Good morning hon! How did you sleep?" His mother asked. "Alright, Yui and I stayed up a bit to play some games" His parents smiled, "How sweet." 

As his parents spoke, Shirabu thought back to how Semi had jumped over the wall to see him. 'What if he had jumped over at the wrong time then what?' He thought. "Everything okay Kenji?" His father asked, "Oh he's probably fine, probably thinking about Hachiro" His mother winked, making Shirabu smile, "Well I guess I was. I was planning on meeting him later today." His parents smiled. "Well have fun, but don't stay out too late" His mom said before he back to his room. "I won't".

Shirabu gets to his room when he gets a text.

Shirabu puts his phone away as Yui barges in again. "Bu!" "Hi Yui." She smiles as she sit on his bed, "Where are you going Bu?" "I'm meeting the mister from yesterday. Remember him?" Shirabu watches Yui make her thinking face, eyes closed, hand on her chin and bottom lip out, "Oh! The one with the sorta pink hair!" "Ssshhh! You can't yell it out Yui, and where's your brother?" Yui shrugs as she gets up and walks to his closet. 

"I don't know. But here!" She pulls out a cute light blue hoodie, "Wear this!" Shirabu takes the hoodie and smiles, "Thanks Yui, I was struggling on what to wear." Yui only smiles as Tachi runs into the room, "You have to stop doing that!" He says, out of breath. "You got to get one of those wristlets that lock so she wouldn't run away again." Shriabu laughs, "Thanks for the idea." Taichi smiles as he gets Yui, "Say bye now Yui, mom is waiting for us." Yui smiles, "Bye Bu! Have fun on your date!" Shirabu turns a bit red, "It's not a date!" 

As Yui is dragged out of the room by Taichi, Shirabu hears Yui laughing with Taichi.

The river~ 

"When do we tell them who you actually are?" Shriabu asks as he plays with Semi's hair, "No clue honestly, but we got to be really careful then..." Shirabu nods. Semi stares at Shirabu as he continues to play with his hair. "We're just lucky your parents didn't really 'officially' show you to the public so they don't really know what you look like." Semi nods, "Playing it safe."

"Well, lets see if he's around here." 

Both eyes wide they look for a place to hide. "Who was that?!" Semi whispers, "My mom!" Shirabu whispers back. "Hide!!" Shriabu whispers to Semi. "I'm trying!" Semi starts running for it as Shirabu follows. 

"Guess he's not." She says, walking back to the palace. "I was hoping to see them." "Me too." Say his father. "Though, Hachiro does look a bit familiar somehow." "You think? I can't remember if we might've seen him before." His dad says before the two couldn't be heard anymore.

Once the two make it far enough to Semi's kingdom, they hear his parents. "Now where did Ejta go off to?" They hear his mom. "Oh come on. I'm tired of running." Shirabu whispers. Semi motions to follow him as they reach Semi's room. "Here, you go up first." "What if they're there just waiting for you to go through the window?" "Didn't think of it like that, guess I'll be going first." 

Semi climbs up into the room and pulls Shirabu in. "Coasts clear. Plus, I told Tendou I was going to meet you so he's on guard outside." "I can hear you you know." Tendou says through the door. The two smile as they sit down on his bed. "God, I'm out of breathe." "Me too, who would've thought we'd run into both of our parents in one day." "That's stupid" Tendou buts in through the door, making Shirabu laugh.

 The two make themselves comfortable on Semi's bed. "Now what?" Shirabu asks, Semi Shrugs. "How do you drag me to your room and now know what we should do?" Semi shrugs again, "I don't know. Want me to play something?" Shriabu nods, "Why not."

Semi goes to grab his guitar before Tendou opens the door, "Parents!" He whisper yells. Shirabu jumps and runs to the bathroom as Semi laughs before going back on his bed. "This isn't a laughing matter!" As the bathroom door shuts, the bedroom door opens. "Eita, we're about to go into town if you want to join." His mother says, "I'm okay." "Oh well." She walks out as his dad examines the room before leaving.

Sorryyyyyyy, I don't even know where my head is. But I have a whole thing plotted but need a good time to actually write it out into the story T-T But I hope you like this chapter, it's not much but yea-
