The alarm clock rang yet again waking up Brianna for another productive day she hesitantly opened her eyes while she stretched her hand to hit the snooze button, she then got off bed, went to take her yoga mat and started her morning yoga, when she was done with yoga she returned the yoga mat and then took off her undies as that was the only thing left on her from last night, after which she went to the bathroom for a quick bath after about 15 minutes she was done, she dried her hair and body when she was done she went to the closet contemplating on what to wear but settled on a white V-neck shirt and a yellow flare belly skirt that reached just slightly below her knee,

The outfit
she didn't apply any makeup and just as usual tied her hair in a rough bun, when she was satisfied with her look she took her brown hand bag and kept her phone in it she took her house keys from the side table and left her apartment without forgetting to lock the door. In just a few minutes Brianna was in front of the cafe, she took her phone out to look at the time and it was just 6:14a.m. happy that she still had like an hour and half to start the place for the day she kept the phone back in her bag and brought out the bunch of keys and as she was about to insert the key in the key hole she noticed that the door was already unlocked "But by who?" She thought to herself and she didn't waste any time taking off her white sandals and holding it in her hands as she opened the door quietly she walked in gently so as not to make any noise, just then she heard some sounds coming from the kitchen so she walked slowly to the kitchen door and peaked through the looking hole to see someone wearing a black hoodie with the hood on standing near the flour jaw but she couldn't make out who it was so she opened the door immediately and stepped in "Freeze and drop what ever you might be stealing or have already stolen and don't you dare do anything funny because I have a gun and I know how to use it!" Brianna threatened nervously as she got in knowing that she was only having a sandals in her hands as a weapon "Hahaha, OMG Bri I never knew you had a gun or even knew how to use it" The person said while laughing as she turned slowly to reveal who she was "Jenna! It's you what are you doing here so early, you don't usually come this early and why are you putting on that black hoodie with the hood on I actually thought you were a thief or something" Brianna said as she put her sandals on the ground relieved that it was just Jenna "Well I was feeling guilty about not coming yesterday so I decided to come really early and on getting the place ready before you came but wasn't expecting to get a gun pointed at me, by the way where is this gun of yours" Jenna said with a grin "Fuck! Jenna you know I don't have a gun my only weapon is whatever am wearing on my feet and my stern threatening voice" Brianna replied as she wore her sandal again "Well if I didn't know you I would have almost believed you actually had a gun" Jenna said walking up her best friend "Oh come on I know you were scared" Brianna said as she hugged her best friend "No way I was scared, even if it was someone else I still wouldn't have been scared why do you think I watch super hero movies?" Brianna said they released each other from the hug "Yeah you could be looking at the world's next or even first wonder woman or captain Jenna" She said as she brought her left leg forward and bending her knee a little taking her right leg back and putting both her hands on each side of her waist while bringing her chest forward to look intimidating as she did her best super hero pose "Hahaha you... haha don't know... haha how you look like... haha don't--" "I know am looking like the best super hero you have ever seen" Jenna interrupted as she chested out even more "You wished Jenna, you wished" Brianna said holding her stomach which hurt from laughing "But seriously Jenna that's not your style, any ways let's get this place ready" Brianna said as she stopped laughing "Well I have already cleaned the kitchen and I was making doughnuts before you came in" Jenna said pointing to the dou cut out in doughnut form "I guess I will go clean up the dining then" Brianna said as she picked up a broom next to her then picked up her handbag from the ground and went back into the dining she started to clean and arrange the place but all the while she was cleaning she just couldn't shake day feeling of expecting the man of the day before to walk in and out for another espresso without the caffeine "Hmm who drinks espresso without the caffeine?" She said as she smiled. after like an hour and half Jenna and Brianna were done with cleaning And every other thing that needed to be done and in just 10 minutes after people started coming in and work started for that day Brianna had always been the one taking care of the cafe even if it wasn't her's but Jenna never for one day made Brianna feel that she was just a worker in her cafe she always made her best friend feel like she was also a co-owner in the cafe and why not when Brianna always takes good care of it even if Jenna isn't there to keep an eye on her she does her job well and that is one of the things Jenna loves about her. By 7:30 p.m. they were done for the day with their last customer just leaving and handing Jenna a huge tip with a paper that had his number on it "Bri take a look at this" She said as she waved the thousand dollar note in Brianna's face "Umhmm he's a good catch. didn't you get his number?" Brianna said smiling at her friend's act "Of course and I didn't even ask or flirt" Jenna said as she moved a piece of her blonde hair from her face "So are you going to call him?" Brianna asked as she took a cloth to go start cleaning the table the man stood up from "Well I don't know" Janice said as she put her elbow on the counter and rested her chin in her palms "Come on he looks....good looking" Brianna said returning back to the counter "I will give him a 5 outa 10" Jenna replied "How about 5.7" Brianna said joining her friend behind the counter "Nah maybe a 5.6" Jenna said with a cheesy smile "I guess but that's enough to call him though?" "I guess I will call him" Jenna said with a shrug "Be sides I --" Brianna was interrupted by the ring of her phone she put her hands in her apron pocket and brought it out she looked at the caller ID and it read 'unknown' so she answered it anyway "Hello" She said when the phone was already at her ear "Hello little pumpkin" The caller said with a deep but familiar voice "Who is this?" Brianna asked nervously trying to recognize the voice "Oh my little pumpkin have you forgotten me so soon, it's been how long?" The person at the other end said "No it can't be?" Brianna said almost in a whisper "And so it is my little pumpkin, so it is" The caller said slowly for Brianna to hear every single word "Richard it's been so long, so so long" Brianna said as the memories came flashing back but she fought them in other not to cry "Now that's no way to talk to your uncle little pumpkin" The caller said only for a tear to drop from Brianna's eyes at the mention of the word 'uncle' .
