CHAPTER SEVEN

     A knock was heard outside Brianna's room door with no answer the person knocked again.

"Who is it?"

Brianna asked as loud as she could in between a yawn.

"Hey Brianna, someone is here to see you downstairs."

Emilly said from the other side of the door.

"Okay I will be right there."

Brianna said as she now managed to seat up right on the bed. 

 she then got off bed and headed for the door.

"Who would even want to see me here in London."

Brianna said as she came out from her room walking to the stairs.

She walked to the stairs and as she came down, she could see Luke seating on one of the sofas with Richard.

"Lucky me am being visited by the 'eligible' Luke Wills."

Brianna said under her breath getting to the peak of the stairs.

And just then Emilly who was seating opposite from Luke and Richard sighted Brianna.

"Hey, look Brianna is here."

 Emilly said as she got Richard's and Luke's attention.

"Come little pumpkin someone is here for you"

Richard said as he gave Brianna his usual bright smiles.

Brianna walked to where Richard and Luke was seated as Richard got up to go seat at the chair opposite that one leaving Brianna to seat with Luke

"So Brianna how have you been since the party?"

Luke asked casually as he turned to face Brianna directly with his bright smile showing his pearly white teeth

"Well it's just been a few hours ago so I guess am cool"

Brianna said looking over him and not at him.

"Well your husband to be here came to.... Take you.... Home"

Richard said stammering some words as if not sure of what he was saying

"Home?"

Brianna and Emily said at exactly the same time with Emily looking away from her phone

"Yes home, the house you would be living in"

"But dad she practically just got here how could she leave now!"

Emily said with more of disappointment than anger.

"Emily, you know not to talk when adults are talking so darling just go to your room."

"But dad it's just not––"

"I don't want to hear anything else now go to your room or else!!"

Richard said as his smiling face changed to a stern look.

Emily just stormed out of the living room and practically marched upstairs.

"Uncle I don't think it was necessary to talk to her like that or even send her away in that manner."

''Yeah, Brianna is right Mr. Carson."

Luke said siding with Brianna.

"Trust me Luke that was the perfect way to respond to her cause you know she's still young and need such scolding."

Richard said to Luke as he was now smiling again

"And besides when you and Brianna have your own kids you will understand things like this "
