Part 4 - Coffee Break

We all walked down the street in a big huddle. I finally feel accepted! For the first time in my life, I made friends.. By myself! My mum introduced James to me when I was like 1, and we've been together ever since, and I made friends with Katie, as the teacher says I should socialise with other kids so she made me speak with Katie. We stuck ever since that day. James and Katie were never interested in some of the things I do, for example I like playing video games while they like to go outdoors; shopping or just hanging out. You could say I was the odd one out of the "threesome" but we were all very close.

We stopped outside this 2 story building, which I assume is the café we were headed to. Ken opened the door for us and we all walked inside.

"Guys! Hey! Come. Sit down. Drinks are on me!" Said an English guy from behind the counter.

"Thanks Yami!" Said Mark who waved at him as he walked us to a table on the far left. I sat on a chair in the middle of the table, and Mark and Jack instantly jumped to sit by me. The other guys just gave them weird looks while they walked slowly to the table, plonking themselves on the seats, still giving the guys weird looks. I think I'm ruining their "guy" time. Maybe I should just leave? Yami came up to our table with a tray with 6 glasses of coke on it. He placed them on the table and plonked himself on the end seat. He put his arms behind his head in a relaxing position and looked at me confused.

"Who's this?" He asked Mark. Mark looked at me and told him my name. He then gave me this cute, innocent smile. He looked like a cute kitten. Yami sat up at extended his hand towards me.

"Yami. Nice to meet you Nicki!" He said with a huge grin. I shook his hand and gave him a small smile. "Well, I should get back to work" he said and walked back behind the counter.

"Shy isn't he at college?" I asked the guys. Yami looked our age, and he was obviously in their friendship group, so why isn't he in college?

"He got kicked out!" Said Wade, who was sitting opposite me. "He was.. Caught with Miss Josephs and well he got kicked out." Wade said With a giggle. Wow. There really is some drama between these guys. We drank our cokes and discussed the latest episode of Supernatural. My favourite character is Castiel. Then I saw Yami open a gate, which had stairs behind it. What was on the second floor?

"Great! Finally the gate is open! " said Pewds, who then ran towards the stairs. All the guys got up and I followed. We walked up the stairs, and at the top was heaven. It was a huge room full of game console and video games. This was awesome. There was a girl sitting on the blue sofa in the middle of the room, watching TV. Pewds ran up to her and kissed her cheek. Pewds has a girlfriend? I saw Jack sit down in front of a PS4 console and chose out a video game. I think I should get to know him? I walked up to the sofa he was sitting on and plonked myself down next to him. As I sat down, Jack froze in his place. He turned his head and looked at me confused.

"What are we playing?" I asked him with a smile. He then sat up straight and the tension seemed to have released from his body.

"We're gonna play GTA V online" he said and handed me a controller. We played for what seemed hours, and we discussed topics which we both enjoyed. We actually have so much in common. I think we could become great friends. Maybe more... WHAT? Why a! I thinking that? I don't fancy Jack! Or do I?

"Its time for us to leave" called Bob who was waiting at the door which leads us downstairs. Jack stopped the game and got up and turned to look at me.

"Come on. We gotta go back to college. Classes start in 10 minutes" he said, ax he extended his hand towards me. I took his hand and we walked towards the door. We're holding hands? As we got to the door, Mark turned around and saw our hands clamped together. He looked at Jack with an angry facial expression. Jack looked down at our hands and let go as quickly as he realised we were still holding hands.

"Sorry" he whispered to me, and he ran out the door, down the stairs. Mark slowly followed and then I. We walked back to the college with a fast pace. Mark and Jack were walking slowly behind, and I could hear that Mark and Jack were arguing. Was it because me and Jack were holding hands? Does that mean Mark likes me? No he can't. Its only been the first day!

We arrived back at the college with 6 minutes until next class. They live a floor up from me so I said my goodbyes and walked into my dorm. Zoella wasnt in there so I had the room to myself. I looked at my timetable and I had science next. Great. I HATE science! I sighed and grabbed my Green asylum rucksack. This was my science rucksack. Yes, I own a rucksack for every lesson. Shut up! Its a thing I have to do! I threw the rucksack onto my shoulders and walked towards the science block.
