Chapter 14

I woke up and was still trapped by 3 things. I tried to get up and they tightened their grips.

"Where do you think you're going?" Lucy asks. I don't respond. I try to get up again and they stop me again.

"Really? We're not letting you up unless it's for a good reason." Abby says. I go to sit up and they stop me from doing that too.

"Nope. You're staying just like this. If you wanna move or do something you have to ask." Adira says. I stop moving and try to go back to sleep.

"Wait. Are you seriously just gonna try and sleep till we leave?" Abby asks. I just keep my eyes closed.

"Are you hungry? We can get you some food." Lucy says trying to get me to respond. Now if you're wondering why I'm just laying here then it's because even though I could possibly struggle and get free. I don't want to waste any energy. I wanna keep as much of my strength that I can.

"Come on you just woke up we know you're hungry. So ask for what you want then we'll get it sent up." Adira says. I move my arms and put the pillow I was laying on over my head.

"Hey! Are you kidding us!?" Abby yells.

"I doubt you would actually try and kill yourself right in front of us like this so we'll let this slide only this time. But if you do that again-." Lucy cuts herself off when she looks at my eyes. "What's wrong w/ your eyes?" She asks. The others look and they seem concerned. They get agitated when I don't answer.

"April! Answer us!" Adira yells. Now I said I wanted to get through to them that I won't accept them. But I wanted to do it w/o causing myself and those I care about to be put in danger. Well this is the best I can come up w/.

"Guys come on and get dressed. They should be down stairs. We can get our answers then." Abby says getting changed. The others get up and I sit up and face away from them.

"April head into the closet and pick what you wanna wear." Adira states. I only get up and walk to the bedroom door. I try to open it but it's locked and I can't find where to unlock it.

"We don't trust you to be unrestrained and have the door unlocked. Since we figured you waking up restrained wouldn't really be best we locked the door." Lucy says. When they locked the door I don't know. How I also don't know. But I do know that I am not changing. I moved off to the side so that when they were done they could unlock the door.

"April we're not opening that door till you change." Adira says. I sit down were I was at.

"Why won't you change? I mean you have to want clean and more comfortable clothes on." Abby says. Actually my clothes are pretty comfortable. But they look like they've been through the ringer because one out in the wild and two I liked it.

"April I know you don't want people picking your clothes so I'm having you pick what you wanna wear. That is covered in dirt so just get some clean clothes." Adira says. I don't move. They all sigh.

"Let see if her uncle can get her to change." Lucy says and they all come over to the door. Lucy unlocks it and the other two block my view. We start to head down. I head towards the front door and they immediately stop me.

"What the heck?" Abby asks.

"Did you really think we would let you walk out those doors?" Lucy asks.

"Come on let's head to the kitchen." Adira says. The others agree and they drag me to the kitchen.

"Mom! Mama!" I hear the kids yell. I see them near the end of the table. Adira wraps her arm around my waist and leads me to the table. The other two went ahead of us to greet their kids.
