Kara woke the next morning to a ringing coming from across the room, where apparently she had left her phone in her drunken state. Groaning, she throws her pillow at the phone, rolling back over to attempt to block the noise under the blanket and fall back asleep. Just as she begins to block out the noise, a loud knock pounds on her bedroom door.

"KARA!" Maggies grumpy morning voice sounds through the door, "Please turn off your damn phone and wake up already!"

Kara grumbles incoherently before nearly tripping over herself after hurling off the bed. When she reaches her phone, she notices that she has two missed calls from Alex. And it's already 10am! Luckily they don't have a set schedule today. Just required to do a few drills and warmups in the gym on their own time. She gets ready for the day, taking a cold shower, brushing her hair and teeth, and dressing in her Canadian gear to wake herself up a bit before calling Alex back. The hangover from the night before causing her to be a bit sluggish today.

Kara returns Alex's call, attempting to hide the exhaustion in her voice.

"Hey Kara!" Alex answers the phone brightly.

"Hey!" Kara responds happily, finally getting to talk to her sister besides saying quick 'hello's' while her and Maggie were on the phone everyday.

"I know you are finally getting a break today," Alex continues," so I just wanted to check in and hear how everything is coming along."

"Eh," Kara says with a shrug, "It's been about the same. My quad jumps are solid on their own but put an entire routine in between is when it becomes harder."

"I'm not talking about that, I know your jumps are gold medalist material" Alex says with a laugh, "I am talking about what else have you been up to?"

"Uh," Kara hesitates.

"You may be able to fool Maggie but you can't fool me," Alex starts with a laugh, "Of course you have gotten away with at least some things or you wouldn't be you. I promise I won't rat you out until you are home anyways."

"Nope," Kara refuses, "I plead the fifth."

"Okay," Alex sighs, "Please just be extra careful if you are needing some alone time, and don't be afraid to call Maggie if you need her. She just wants to help keep you safe."

"I know. I know," Kara says with a sigh, as she interrupted with another training of thought, "Alex, is it strange that I haven't been interested in dating basically my entire life?"

"You're only 24 Kara," Alex reminds her, "You have plenty of time to date."

"Lucy has been giving me a hard time about it lately," Kara begins.

"Don't listen to her," Alex responds, "You dated several people before you began your training again the past few years. You're focused. You aren't prioritizing romance, so what?"

"I don't know," Kara sighs, "I honestly was relieved to stop dating. I feel like I have almost used my training as an excuse to get out of dates. Everyone else has time to date and enjoys it so I don't know why I never have."

"I didn't date much either until I met Maggie," Alex explains, "you'll know when the right person comes along."

Interrupting the conversation, Kara sees a call from an unknown number.

"Hey, Alex. Someone is calling me. I am going to see who it is."

"Okay, no problem!"

"Love you, bye!"

Answering the other call, "Hello?" Kara asks curiously.

"Hey Keira," a familiar voice greets through the phone, "It's Cat Grant. How are you today?"
