I'm at  Noell's doorstep to bring Monáe some more diapers. As soon as Noell's dad opens the door he scoffs at me. "Here to do your bidding for the baby huh?" He says looking me up and down. This isn't the Mr. Dillison I remember from 4th grade when me and Noell would have play dates. "Never that I came to bring MY God daughter some diapers out of the kindness of my heart." I say with a sweet smile and roll my eyes. "Oh hey sweetheart come on in!" Noell's mom says noticing me while walking past the door. "Gladly!" I say nudging past Noell's dad. As I Noell comes down the stairs with the baby in her hands her dad slams the door shut. "So I'm the bad guy always huh?!" He says loudly startling the baby. "Dad can we not right now I just got her to sleep." Noell says with tears in her eyes. "That's enough Robert." Noells mom says entering the entrance part of the house where we all were. "NO BECAUSE I'VE HAD IT WITH NOELL'S SPOILED ASS SHE GOT HER LIL FRIENDS BRING HER 3 MONTH OLD BABIES ASS DIAPERS AND SHIT LIKE SHE CAN'T DO IT!" Noell's dad screams. "Like I said Noell didn't ask me to do this I just asked if I could swing by to give my God daughter some diapers." I say blurting in. "NO YOU HUSH THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!" He says now yelling at me. Who the hell was this old dude talking too? "NO ROBERT THATS ENOUGH I'VE HAD IT WITH YOU. I HAVE SAT HERE LISTENING TO YOU DEGRADE MY DAUGHTER SINCE SHE WAS PREGNANT TILL SHE GOT THE BABY OUT. SHES SCARED TO LEAVE HER BABY HOME WITH YOU TO GO TO WORK BECAUSE SHES SCARED OF WHAT YOU MIGHT DO BECAUSE OF ALL THAT HATE YOU HAVE FOR THAT BABY. EITHER YOU GET THE FUCK OUT OR YOU RESPECT OUR DAUGHTER AND OUR GRANDDAUGHTER." Noell's mom says in one breath almost breaking the sound barrier. Damn. "Fuck this." Noell's dad says grabbing his keys and slamming the door. Do I leave orrr? "Thank you for the diapers boo." Noell says with tears in her eyes and a excused tone. "I'll text you.." I say leaving out the door.
