ELIAS MOORE
"There's my girl." I said as she answered the FaceTime call.
"Hey, baby." She said, smiling weakly.
"What's wrong, my love?"
"We ran out of ice cream. Oh and I miss you but mostly the ice cream."
"I'm really feeling the love, thanks, V."
"Sorry, how you finding Italy?"
"It's beautiful, I was thinking we'd come here for our honeymoon." Her eyes widened and she grinned widely.
"You'd want that?" I nodded and she did a cute squeal, not being able to contain her excitement. "Oh yeah, I was looking at baby stuff and erm..."
"Valentina, what did you do?"
"Nothing."
"V-"
"Ok, fine. I'm sorry. Technically, I didn't do anything right now but a month ago I kind of went full blown baby crazy and I just kept adding cute things to my basket. Once I started I just couldn't stop. It must of slipped my mind to remove some stuff and I ended up ordering everything."
"I'm sure it's not a lot."
"Baby, they dropped it off in a bulk. You know the room we throw parties in, the really, really, really big one? I asked them to leave the stuff in there because there was just so much, I didn't know where to put it."
She's probably over reacting, I don't know why she's panicking that much.
"Please don't get mad at me." She whispered as she turned the camera around and started moving the camera around the whole room.
"Valentina!"
She wasn't over exaggerating, if anything I think she was down playing it.
"I know, I'm sorry, baby." V said, flipping the camera back onto her. "I don't know what to do with it, my logic was 3 babies so just buy 3 of everything."
"V, that's a whole lot more than 3 of everything."
"Yeah because for some I saw the same thing but in different colours so I got the entire selection to pick from, I didn't mean to actually buy it." I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose.
"It's ok, Valentina. We'll send some of it back if they won't let us return it, we'll give it to a charity. Just tell me how much money you spent on it and then we'll figure how much we need to give away."
"Before I tell you just remember we have amazing sex, I make you the happiest person in the world and you also love me very, very much." Weird sentence but ok.
"Er... ok." She mumbled something but I didn't hear her. "My love, you'll have to speak up, I didn't hear a word of that."
"I said just over a two hundred and fifty... thousand." She mumbled and I felt my heart sink to my stomach. "Baby, say something."
"It's ok." How on earth can one person spend that much in one go on baby things?
"When I get back we can spend time sorting the boxes and you can pick what you want and I'll get our men to deal with the rest."
She's indecisive, she'll take ages to figure out what she wants to keep.
"Valentina, you need to remember most of it has to go, make a 'keep', 'maybe' and 'needs to go' list, ok?" She nodded. "I'll have people break down the wall between the room next to ours and we can put the babies in that one so we can be close to them and get to them easily." I said as she walked back to our bedroom.
