Today was going to be somewhat exciting! Stan's Uncle Jimbo and his friend Ned were taking the five of you on a hunting trip once more, but this time it was a little more ways away from Colorado.
North Dakota, Fargo. The desolate land of wheat-fields, and in turn endless camouflage in Jimbo's words.
Though, as the hunting got old for you and your friends shortly after starting, you were left to your own devices in the vast wheat-field you were stranded in. The truck was only a couple feet away, but with all of the directions looking the same, it was almost impossible to find, especially with the grain's height.
That's when you got an idea. Though it wasn't particularly for the use of navigating the truck. It was more of just a simple way to have fun.
You plucked a dying wheat head, and now only had some persuasion to do.
"Hey, Stan!" You spoke to the closest boy to you, who was already flicking the same wheat head again and again in boredom. He responded with a monotone "What?"
"Could you pick me up?"
He looked at you blankly before once again stating, but more confused this time "....What?"
"So I'll be able to see!" You pointed upwards, though your finger reached over the surface of the vast field.
He understood what you were getting at, but for some reason needed to know your motivation.
"Why?"
"Well...hmmm" you tapped your chin, twirling the dying plant in your other hand, trying to think of an excuse besides finding the truck. In all honesty you didn't want to go home, you wanted to find what kind of creativity this field would spark.
And that's when you focused in on the plant in your hand, an idea coming to fruition. You held it up as if it was a scared sword. "I'm going to pretend to be a pirate! See? This is my sword!" You swooshed it around.
