Portalway

You struggled to find your way out of the void. This whole trip you've just been walking down an empty hallway with nothing but a few pictures and doors to make it more intriguing.

How were you supposed to get out of here? Just then you heard a mewl, and you looked down to see a very strange cat egging you on.

It was weird, but you would take anything at this point. You obliged and followed it as it led you across the multitude of strange doors.

The further it led you the more the stars on it's hind legs and forearms started to glow, it was strange. Not as strange as the never ending hallway, as you felt that your lungs were about to explode. You lost track of how long you'd been walking, but it was enough to make your chest burn. You stopped to take a quick break, shoulder leaning against one of the blank walls. A tingly sensation erupted in your shoulder immediately after, causing you to yelp and push away from the wall immediately.

There was the essence of static that was already beginning to fade away. What the hell? You touched the wall and the static reappeared. This continued for a few seconds before another mewl caused you to look at the feline. It was already further down the hallway, eyes anticipating you to follow.
"Ah, sorry"

You quickly got back on track.

You passed a lot of doors on your journey. It was beginning to grow repetitive in all honesty, but soon the feline stopped as a strange light began to illuminate its fur.

You questioned what it was, and looking up you saw a portal. Open and inviting. You cocked your head to the side, did this cat really expect you to go through that thing? But before you knew it, the cat was already pushing it's head against your inner knee.

You yelped in surprise "Hey! Wait a sec—"
You very easily stepped aside, leaving the cat standing in a head butting position.

"You don't actually expect me to walk through that, do you?"

Now it was the feline's turn to be confused. That was when it hit you that you were conversing with an animal. "Great...I'm going crazy.."

A cloud of glitter suddenly appeared, you coughed and frantically waved your hands to clear away the smoke, which revealed an awfully happy magician.

"Hellooo!"

You stood dumbfounded "Who—who are you?"

The magician smiled and clapped their hands together "Oh people like you are so fun! Making me come out here to do my job" They very easily avoided the question.

"Wait, you didn't answer me—"

"No need to worry about that little ingress there, it's quite harmless I assure you! You wont feel a thing"

You blinked in disbelief. This psycho really expected you to go through that thing.

"No way!"

The magician didn't falter, letting their smile remain even with your resistance. "Ahh you're funny" A chuckle flew from their lips "You should try standup, y'know. You would be great at it"

"I don't know what you're talking about! I don't even know where I am right now!"

The psycho standing before you seemed excited at this fact, taking it as an opportunity for some exposition. "You're in my creation! It's very messy but that's just how I roll, I just thought that the little characters roaming around would appreciate it if I moved them to a more cleaner domain, that's all"

You did not understand a word they said.

But seeing as they weren't budging, waiting with an anticipating stare, there was really nothing you could do to escape this situation.

You contemplated your life for a few seconds, took a deep breath, and turned towards the portal.
"Okay...letting go of all my common sense starting now" you couldn't believe you were listening to these clowns.

You took a step forward.

"Here we go"

And the next thing you knew you were surrounded with light, heading to a new destination that would hopefully be better than the void you sat in for a time period that could only be described as an eternity.
