~Chapter 12~

*Karinha's P.O.V*

That was insane. I already knew about the elders, and i knew they'd want me, but i just didn't think they'd actually find me.

We found a house to stay at while we hid from the elders. Everyone was going to sleep. Niall and Jacky walked out hand in hand. They were so cute. Then Maria turned down Liam, a little rude, but she's probably still a bit uneasy.

I looked over at harry and he was staring at me. I thought back to when we almost kissed. This is too much. I don't know what i was doing. He's a zombie. I could've been infected or something. I would've been one of them...Then there would be no hope of finding my mom..

My mom.. I miss her so much. My emotions were building up and i could feel tears begining to form in my eyes, I didn't want harry to see me like this so i ran into the kitchen, leaving him speechless.

I entered the kitchen and started looking through the cabinets for a towel, or dish rag. One cabinet, nope. Two cabinets, nope. Three cabinets, nope. I was about to give up when i heard ruffling in a cabinet by the door. Probably just a rat or something, but i should check, just to be safe. 

I walked over and opened the cabinet. I looked through and didn't find anything until a hand gripped mine.

"AAHHH HARRY HELP ME!!!" i screamed.

"No please! I'm sorry, Please don't hurt me!" yelled a small girl. Aw, she looked so hopeless and defensless.

"I..I won't hurt you, who are you?" i asked reaching for her hand. She took it and got out of the cabinet.

"I-I'm lissa" she mumbled. 

"Why were you in the cabinet?" i asked sitting her down on a chair.

"Well-"

"Karinha!..You..okay?" harry came in interupting her.

"NOOOO GET AWAY, STOP!!!" Lissa yelled.

"No lissa it's okay, shh, it's okay!" i tried to cakm her down. Harry backed away and stood in the doorway.

"He's...hes one of them!! HE'S A KILLER!!" she yelled.

"No lissa it's okay he's my friend, he's a good one" i said.

She didn't replay, she just kept giving him death glares. 

"Lissa it's okay he won't hurt you i'm sure of it" i said.

"If he tries anything i will blow his head off" She replied still staring at him. 

"Okay.." i said.

"Who's...this?" harry asked walking back in sitting next to me. 

"Lissa, she was in the cabinet, lissa how old are you?"

"I'm 17" she replied

"You look so young?!" i said.

"I get that alot"

"So continue, why were you in the cabinet?" i asked.

"Well, i lived here with a few others, until there was a break in the lock system and zombies got in. They attacked everyone, but i hid in this cabinet. I watched my friends and family die. I've been sitting in there for a few days now. I was too frightened to get out."

"Woah. I'm so sorry, i know how you feel, i had to watch my dad and boyfriend be killed." I looked over at harry and he had his head down, i think he felt bad for killing my family.

"Is anyone else here?" she asked.

"Yea all together there's... of us, 4 zombies, 3 girls."

"What?! You've been traveling with zombies?! And they didn't kill you?!" she sounded so shocked.

"Nope. They've been quite protective actually" i replied. 

"That's insane.." she said.

"We should probably go back to them"

"Okay.." she said uneasy.

We walked back into the livingroom and there was maria, liam, and louis. 

"Guys this is lissa, she was hiding in the cabinet. She awkwardly waved, still afraid of all of us.

"Hey lissa, i'm maria" Maria said. 

"Uhm hi.." she replied.

"Don't worry i'm not going to hurt you" she said.

Lissa sat down with maria. 

"I'm...louis"

"I'm....Liam"

"Hi.."

"You'll me Niall and Jacky tomorrow, they've already gone to bed." i said.

"Okay" she replied.

"I think we should all get some sleep now" i said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

I layed on the big couch and harry followed. He layed behind me but kept his distance. I looked to the other couch and Lissa said down next to louis. I don't think she likes him, there just wasn't enough space on maria's couch.

I'm guessing she's gotten used to liam now, she was laying down and they were spooning. 

My eyelids were getting heavier and heavier so i finally gave in and drifted off to sleep.
