Bens POV
I was in my room getting ready when my parents walked in. "How is it possible that you're gonna be crowned king next month? You're just a baby!" My dad said to me while walking in my room. "He's turning 16, dear." Mom reminded him
"Hey pops" I said while standing still so the man could measure me. "16? That's far too young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good decision until I was at least 42." He stated while taking his glasses off.
"You decided to marry me at 28." My mom said looking mad.
"Ah, it was either you or a teapot." He replied which made me laugh
"Kidding." He stated
"Mom, dad..." I said starting to move until the guy stopped me
"I've chosen my first official proclamation. I've decided that the children on the isle of the lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon." I said making them shocked
"Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned." I finished
"The children of our sworn enemies, living among us?" My dad asks angrily
"We start out with a few at first, only the ones who need our help the most. I've already chosen them." I said trying to reason with him
"Have you?" He asks
"I gave you a second chance, who are their parents?" My mom says talking to my dad then asking me
"Cruella De Vil... Jafar... Evil Queen... and Maleficent." I said and heard everyone gasp
"Maleficent! She is the worst villain in the land!" Dad yelled at me
"Dad, just hear me out here!" I said hoping to have him see their children aren't responsible for anything
"I won't hear of it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes." He says and everyone else leaves the room
"Dad, their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at normal life? Dad?" I asked hoping he would see my side
"I suppose their children are innocent." He replies
"Well, well done. Shall we?" Mom says then turns around to leave with dad.
