Hi, Hello, and Vanakam! Today I would like to bring into the spotlight an ashaangi fanfiction that I extremely enjoyed. My reviews will not include any spoilers.

main leads- Shreya and Arjun (aka, sivaangi and ashwin)
The story is predominantly based on the concept of one-sided love, from a female perspective. @Varna5hue has done a great job of defining the characters and getting the readers connected to Shreya immediately.
The first few chapters give us an insight into the characters' lives and the world they live in. We get introduced to Navya and Aryan. I personally loved these two characters because both of their characters were so real. Even though we were annoyed at Arjun for liking Navya, that meeting scene was so realistically written and in Arjun's perspective, "Navya" was the one. Aryan on the other hand we can see is slowly developing feelings for Shreya. we also get to see a cute bond develop between Sana (Arjun's Sister) and Shreya. Sana is portrayed to be a beautiful girl that's flawless and is the sister that we all would wish to have. We then start to see Shreya's feelings toward Arjun and it makes us all remember our crushes. Then towards chapter 7, Aryan's character takes a twist and we see a very real and raw side to him which stirs up the plot. Then as the story goes on, the bond between Shreya and Arjun grows and some bits made me blush😜. however, Arjun seems to have mixed feelings now and Vanya is still in the picture.
That was the basic plot summary and my general opinions. Moving on to the layout of the story.
The story has 65 parts but some chapters are just notices and cast updates. In my opinion, the length was good but could have been a bit shorter. It's not a quick read and it's more of a slow burn. I think that the perspectives were spaced out well between Arjun and Shreya, and we get a good balance. However, I wanted a deeper insight into Vanya's perspective and how she feels. The story states that it is an ashaangi fanfic so the readers were obviously rooting for Shreya (aka sivaangi). However, I was wondering.....what if Vanya was casted as sivaangi? would it have changed the reader's perspective of her? would Shreya still be loved?
Then again, these are all the theories and ideologies, I picked out from this book.

I personally wasn't a big fan of the ending. I wanted it to be more raw and real. Something that really shows the true, ultimate pain of one-sided love. However, I still loved the way it was written and I must admit, it really put a smile up on our faces.
