---After our meal, our stomachs were pleasantly full, and we decided it was time to head back to our respective places.
"Do you guys want to spend the night?" Hyunjin asked, extending the invitation.
"Again?" I chuckled, finding it amusing.
"You're always welcome," he shrugged, offering his hospitality.
I glanced at Jiah, seeking her opinion, and she nodded in agreement.
"Sure, then."
---
Feeling the need for some fresh air, we opted to walk back to their dorm.
"Hey, Chaeyoung, can I talk to you for a moment?" Hyunjin called out, gesturing towards a different road.
"Yeah, of course, Hyunjin," I replied, following his lead.
"What do you want to talk about?" I asked as he slowed down to match my pace. The rest of our group continued walking on the other road.
"I'm not sure of the best way to say this, but..." he began, his words hesitant.
"I think I like you, Chaeyoung."
"You... what?" I uttered, though deep down, I had an inkling of what he might be confessing.
"I know this may not be the ideal place or manner to confess, but I felt compelled to tell you how I feel."
I stood there in silence, unable to form a coherent response.
"Could you at least say something?" he pleaded, gently taking hold of my hands.
"I'm not certain how I feel, but I'm willing to give it a try and see if my feelings develop," I finally managed to convey.
His smile instantly brightened, brimming with hope.

FELIX'S POV:
Hyunjin and Chae had been gone for a while, and my worry compelled me to go after them.
"I'm not sure of the best way to say this, but..." Hyunjin's words trailed off. I could already sense what he was about to reveal.
"I think I like you, Chaeyoung."
A pang of pain shot through my heart. What if Chae reciprocates his feelings? What if they start dating? Will I ever have the chance to express my true emotions now?
He held her hand. Her hands. Hands that were once mine alone.
"I'm not sure how I feel, but I'm willing to give it a try," Chae responded, her words sinking deep within me.
My legs felt weak as if my world was crumbling. Chaeyoung was slipping away from me.

CHAEYOUNG'S POV:
Hyunjin's confession had left my mind swirling with thoughts. I had never imagined him in a romantic light before, but now I was going on a date with him tomorrow. And if that weren't enough, Felix had become distant and cold. He no longer cooked for me, nor allowed me to share his bed. He would barely look my way.
"Hey, Felix, could I borrow a shirt from you again?" I asked, hoping to restore some semblance of normalcy.
"Borrow one from Hyunjin," he replied curtly.
"Alright, then," I sighed. Felix had been acting this way since we returned from the restaurant, but I couldn't decipher the reason behind his sudden coldness. Perhaps he was just tired.
"Hey, Hyunjin, can I borrow a shirt from you?" I asked, turning to him.
"Yeah, take whatever you like," he responded, offering a warm smile.
I needed to focus more on Hyunjin now. At least he had shown interest in me.
"Hyunjin?"
"Yeah, Chae?" he replied, looking at me expectantly.
"Wanna have that date now?"

This chapter is slightly shorter, so I apologise for that. I felt like the rest needed its own chapter <3
