The recording studio hummed with creativity. Jiah and I had settled into a rhythm, tirelessly perfecting our parts for the upcoming song. It was incredible how far we'd come as artists.

As I practiced my rap, Jiah offered guidance, her vocals seamlessly blending with my rhythm. Laughter bubbled between takes, as we indulged in playful teasing.

"You've got this, Chae," Jiah encouraged, her eyes brimming with confidence.

"I wouldn't want to be doing this with anyone else by my side," I replied, my heart swelling with gratitude.

In the control room, the Stray Kids members, including Felix, watched us with cheering and encouragement. Their presence was like a warm embrace, and their playful dance moves only added to the fun.

Hyunjin suggested adding some choreography to our recording session. "Ladies, how about spicing things up with some dance moves?" he proposed, a mischievous grin on his face.

Jiah and I exchanged knowing glances before agreeing. What followed was a comical display of dance moves and laughter, as we attempted various choreographies, often ending up in fits of giggles.

After a productive recording session, we decided to take a well-deserved break. The park nearby was bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun, a perfect setting for our impromptu picnic.

We savored sandwiches and shared stories, strengthening the bonds that bound us together.

"Hey, just imagine the fact that if you hadn't been late that morning. We would have never been here," Jeongin raises his voice.

"Yeah, that's so true." Minho adds.

"I'd like to think that we'd find each other somehow anyways," Felix says, taking my hand.

"Yeah, as if y'all wouldn't be too busy being stars to notice me and Jiah," I say, rolling my eyes. In which Felix responds by tackling me to the ground and kissing me all over the face.

"I would have found you anyways," he says firmly, continuing to attack me with kisses.

"Okay, okay, I believe you!" I say, trying to fight him off playfully.

We all engaged in friendly competitions, from arm wrestling, which Changbin inevitably won, to singing contests and even a game of charades.

"Okay, what am I now?" Jisung says, laying on his stomach in the grass pointing up from his head.

"Oh, I know, a table!" Chan says.

"Oh, come on, that was an absolutely terrible guess," Jiah says, making Chan slump and hug her.

"A dolphin?" I say as he starts moving around.

"Close!"

"Oh, I know, a whale!" Minho exclaims.

"Yes! Finally," Jisung says as he gets up from the ground, brushing the dirt off of his stomach.

Laughter filled the air, underscoring the cherished moments of togetherness.

Amid the playful banter and joyful camaraderie, Jiah and I stole a moment to sit on a bench by a tranquil pond.

"Jiah, a year ago, I couldn't have imagined any of this," I mused, a soft smile gracing my lips.

Jiah nodded, her gaze on the water. "Life's twists and turns can be surprising, but I'm grateful for where we are now."

Meanwhile, Minho and Jisung's playful banter continued. They engaged in mock competitions, from devouring snacks to impersonating famous celebrities. Yet, beneath the teasing, their unmistakable spark blossomed.

As the day drew to a close, we gathered under the setting sun, our hearts brimming with hope.

"I hope this happiness won't ever end," Hyunjin says.

"I completely agree," Seungmin adds.

"Well, we gotta work hard for this comeback now!" Chan says, making everyone sigh dramatically.

In that moment, with the warmth of friendship and love enveloping us, we knew that no matter what challenges awaited, we were ready to face them together.
