---"Hey, sleepyhead! Time to rise and shine!" Ji-ah's voice pierced through my groggy haze, jolting me awake. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I realized that today was the day—the day we were heading to Seoul for a concert featuring that particular K-pop group she couldn't stop raving about. I'm Chae-Yeong, a 19-year-old (almost 20) with an affection for cosy mornings and a knack for finding myself in unpredictable situations.
With a mix of curiosity and reluctance, I mustered the energy to throw on some presentable clothes and stumbled my way to the kitchen. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, an attempt to awaken my senses. Ji-ah, an ardent fan of Stray Kids, had dragged me along on this adventure, promising that I would fall in love with them too. I wasn't so sure.
"But why do I have to come with you, unnie?" I groaned, trying to negotiate my way out of it.
"Trust me, Chae. Once you experience their energy and talent, you'll understand," Ji-ah pleaded, her eyes filled with excitement.
The flight was leaving at 2.

As we stepped out of the taxi, the warm air enveloped us. The sprawling airport ahead triggered a wave of uneasiness, reminiscent of flight sickness. Ji-ah's voice reached my ears, asking about the time.
"1:24," I promptly replied. Panic flooded Ji-ah's face as she exclaimed,
"Oh my goodness, Chae! We need to hurry or we'll be late!" Determined, we sprinted through the airport, frantically navigating the security checkpoints. The plane was scheduled to depart in just 10 minutes, and we found ourselves stuck in a slow-moving line to check our bags.
"Chae-Yeong, we'll miss the flight if we don't cut the line!" Ji-ah urged, her voice filled with urgency.
"Hey, we can't do that! These people have waited just as long as we have, if not longer!" I reasoned, trying to uphold a sense of fairness. And so, we resigned ourselves to wait. Suddenly, a resounding announcement filled the air,
"Ding Dong, Ding Dong! Plane number 375 for Seoul airport will depart in 2 minutes. I repeat Plane number 375 will depart in 2 minutes." Anxiety gripped me as I turned to Ji-ah and admitted,
"We're definitely going to miss this flight."
"Unless we cut the line!" Ji-ah insisted, her determination unwavering. At that moment, a tap on my shoulder interrupted our deliberation. I turned around to find a guy wearing a black mask and hoodie standing before us. He motioned for us to follow him.
"Excuse me, ladies. Your terminal has already closed, so please follow me." Exchanging glances with Ji-ah, I made a split-second decision, and we obediently trailed behind the mysterious figure.
