Bigger Lies (Day 4)

"What?" Lyzzie asked, confused.

"Uh, oh." Lupus says before getting up and walking away from Ryder to sit next to me. "Protect me and those two, okay?

"What do you mean?" I ask, turning back and forth from him to Arllie.

"That's exactly what I want to know." Ryder said in a deadly voice.

"Well not the fact that he is missing but, I know where he went, what condition he is in, when it happened, why, everything!" She said nervously to the point where she was talking so fast and was panicking. Walter came over and consoled her a little. It was working until a presence so terrifying appeared. It was Ryder, he was losing control of his wolf.

"I should arrest you but, my wolf is saying to kill you. Even though I usually never resort to violence I think I agree with him on this one." He said his face now a void of negative emotions.

"I'm sorry but I am not about to let you kill my sister." Lyzzie gets up

"Technically you will be my Beta because mine sure as hell won't leave me. Also this has nothing to do with you so back off."

"Excuse me but, if you think I'm about to just sit here while you threaten her you're wrong." she snaps back.

"Sorry, I should have said something as I knew it was going to happen." she whispers quietly.

"So you're saying you knew what was going to happen before it even happened! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't do anything. I mean people who let others fall into danger so easily deserve to be disposed of and forgotten."

"Ryder! Stop, that's unfair. I'm sure she has a reason." Walter defended her.

"That's Alpha to you." he growled. Both of the boys looked in shock at Ryder. I'm assuming they were close based on the hurt mixed in with scowls they gave back.

"The fact that I told you is a good reason right?"

"Yeah but, with further notice this whole situation could have been avoided!" At this point he was fuming mad. And, everyone was worried about standing up to him since his Rank Number is so much higher than the rest of ours.

"Okay, now is when you save us." Lupus whispers, actually looking terrified. When I didn't move at first he gave me a little push. "Hurry or the rest of us won't even be able to make it to the hospital."

"What! How am I supposed to do that?"

"Do what?" I screamed and jumped back because he was now standing directly in front of me.

"Nothing."

"Really?" he looked skeptical.

"Well I mean calm you down but nothing other than that." I didn't want him to get the idea that I wanted to fight him while he has all of his energy and already near the surface while I want to lay down cause I'm lazy and even though my blood is strong it is too new since I haven't shifted since the day of. After all, wolves shift at 16 and I left at 14 so no reason for people to sense my rank. Everything would be ruined then. So at the end of the day I'm the most useless in a situation like this.

"Well, you could take off your glasses. It calms me to look at your eyes. But, of course if you want to wait until tomorrow that is fine. I'll settle for a hug too." He joked. Well even though both are stupid he doesn't look mad anymore so I'm out.

"He seems like he is in a much better mood now for whatever reason. Anyways I'm tired so night!" With that I swing myself up the stairs and go to my room.

Well that was crazy. Can't wait to get some shut-eye. After all those are Ryder's guests. He brought them here, is staying here, he can take care of them. Just as I was dozing off there inevitably needed to be an issue! There was shouting coming from downstairs again. This time I heard my brothers. Two of them at that. Great, now someone is going to get hurt. After contemplating if I should help or not I stand and slug-walk my way downstairs. And, I was not expecting to see Ryder pinning both of my brothers against the wall, Arlya unconscious, and Alysia with blood on her hands holding her ankle.

A/N: Well, good thing I'm still updating and this wasn't one of those times where I don't update for 2 whole months. I know I would be very upset lol...
