Truths and Lies (Day 3)

...I take a deep breath and say, "I wanted to talk to you." Ok so that is out. No going back.

"'Oh ok. Well what did you want to talk about?"

"So, uhm. I suppose the first thing in order is an apology."

"I suppose so."

"Well, I'm sorry for storming out of the conference. I know it was important to you. Also I apologize for yelling at you and slamming the door." I spoke super fast wanting to get it off my chest. At this he laughed.

"It's okay. I guess it was being asked for. After all, I asked you such an unreasonable question." It wasn't as unreasonable as we may think dude.

"Ok. So second thing. You know how you found the rocks in the forest? Anyways I was there because I was visiting some friends. Anyways I dropped them at some point so thank you for picking them up. Also I have a question, ''When you were chasing that girl last week, was she your mate?"

"Uh, yeah. Hold up, how did you know about that?"

"You see that was me. You were chasing me. And, you know how you also asked if I was your mate. I doubt it. So don't jump to conclusions right now. Because I don't sense the bond at all right now. Or like ever. Also Your Beta is blackmailing my friend. He needs to stop digging for information through her. Same with Beta Walter of your little friends pack. My close friends Alysia and Arlya are mates with those two and they are straight up using them! I am not okay with that! Oh and like 4th of all I want to keep my face covered until tomorrow so then we can see what happens and go from there. Anyways I was hoping that you forgive me and we can be friends soon. Another also, uhm your face right now is priceless." And, it was, he looked surprised but pissed at the same time.

"Oh wow, that's a lot." he says thinking. " So totally understandable but I don't understand why you wouldn't sense it the way I do, your bloodline is like one of the strongest of them all. Also I will talk to them. That is unacceptable, to treat your mate like trash, it says a lot about your personality. I should know." He said getting up and walking away.

Eas that directed towards me or him. If he even remembers.

"Bye, Cece. See ya tomorrow" He says from the distance.

Did he really just call me that? I thought he was still upset with me for hiding the truth.

Alysia walked into my house surprising me. How did she even get here? Her pack and mine are both neutral here but our guests so happen to not like her pack or her family for that matter. So much that they just so happen to be their only enemy. I look up from my phone waiting for her to speak. After all, our last conversation did not end well. She stops in front of me hands on her hips and glares at me impatiently. I just look back not knowing what to say.

"So, you're just going to ignore me now? Of course cause you always thought you were better than everyone. Absolutely infuriating!" She said before rolling her eyes and walking out the front door. As I turn my attention back to my phone I hear shouts outside. "No! I am not going back there- No, if she wants to be friends with me she has to apologize to me! Not the other way around!"

I get up and walk to the door expecting to see Alysia and some other person. But, no I could never be lucky enough to be peaceful. The twins, Ryder's Beta, another person, and Ryder himself were standing at the door. Well more like fighting. Alysia is practically clawing at Ryder and Arlya even with Beta Lupus restraining her. The stranger is trying to console Arllie who looks exhausted. Even though Ryder is being threatened he looks unusually calm. He is the only one who has noticed I opened the door. We both just stare at the scenario before us. Then it hit me that there are going to be people passing by the house soon and I basically pull and shove everyone in the house. People from 4 different packs including ones that happen to be enemies literally asks for trouble.

"So, you and you attacked me the other day" I say pointing at the two Betas. Then facing the twins I say, "I saw the report. Even though you brought these idiots here they won't be able to replace me. I mean, I'm still your number one back-up right?"

"Depends, are you the one who spilled?" Alysia said.

"Are you crazy? No no, of course not." But whoever did will pay.

Arlya and I look at Alysia with pleading eyes. First I thought she would be upset but she smiled and nodded at us. Both of us squealed and hugged her. She stood their for a second before pushing us out of the huddle we formed. Then she walked over and grabbed both of the Betas and lifted them off the floor.

"Next time you attack or even think about threatening my friend I will drown you guys in the human sewers." She states sending waves of her aura straight at us.

"No need to worry about them. I already took care of them." Ryder said with a proud look on his face.

"Yeah I know but you're really not scary and you wouldn't sell it well." she said putting them down and sitting on the other side of Arllie.

"Oh, well I don't know how to respond to that but okay." He said laughing.

"You guys." Arllie's soft voice spoke up. "While we are getting things out of the way I wanted to say something. I know what happened to Blake."
