and it was only then that jiyoung realised just how much she was talking.

❝oh, sorry, I talk a lot when I'm excited sometimes. ❞ she shyly explained as she rubbed her nape, embarrassed.

they loaded all the things back into the tiny studio that one of her bandmates owned.

❝don't apologize for being you, youngie. ❞ the eldest of the group pinched her cheek as she dropped jiyoung off at the latter's house.

the latter nodded as she waved bye to the other members of their 'band'. she walked into the house hearing her roommate screaming, most likely playing games or streaming.

❝so? how was it? did you have fun? ❞ she chuckled at her friend acting like a mom, she was the eldest after all. jiyoung then sighed dreamily and started to tell her all about it.

❝the crowd loved it! I still can't believe it. there was also these people from different companies and they were looking for people and- ❞

she was then cut off by her roommate running downstairs with his phone in hand while screaming. the rest of the girls all looked at him weirdly.

❝mark lee just left the dream band! ❞ he screamed out, causing xiaoting to spit out her water. jiyoung was standing there in utter shock as she pulled out her phone and immediately went onto twitter.

she and sunwoo both looked at each other when he suddenly gasped.

❝this means they need a new guitarist!! ❞ he looked at jiyoung with a smirk forming on his face. ❝and I think I've just found one. ❞

she widened her eyes and then let out a loud laugh.

❝that's got to be the most funniest thing you've said. they don't even know I exist, woo. ❞

sunwoo furrowed his brows, and then it clicked in his mind. if they don't know she exists, then he'll just do what has to be done.

❝ji, why don't you join me on my stream today. ❞ jiyoung stops dead in her tracks, turning around with an obvious furrow on her brows but then reluctantly nods when she sees the pleading look in his eyes.

she then turns around and makes her way to the table to eat while sunwoo celebrates silently.

she rolls her eyes once he's done celebrating. just then the food arrive after a bit as they all thank seeun and ningning for the food.

it was silent, the only sounds that could be heard were the chopsticks clicking against the plate and them filling their stomachs to their hearts content.

the silence only lasted for about, two minutes as ningning slammed her chopsticks down making them all flinch.

❝I can't stand this silence, someone speak or something! ❞ they looked around the table, nodding in agreement to ningning's words.

and then they all started talking and having conversations here and there.

❝ji, you've heard the news about one of the dream members leaving the group, right? ❞ jiyoung swallowed her food first before nodding to seeuns words.

❝everyone has, but, yeah, why? ❞ she tilted her head to the side a bit, curious as to why seeun had asked her that.

❝why don't you try out for the role or something? ❞ maybe it was a bad idea to drink some water while seeun was speaking because jiyoung ended up almost dying.

after inflicting panic and concern in everyone at the table, she finally stopped choking and was now just calming down a bit.

❝eun, I'm practically nobody to them. how do you think they would feel if a fan joined their group? ❞ she pointed out the fact that she was a fan to seeun, thinking that it would help her out.

❝at least you're not like those other fangirls they have. it wouldn't hurt to try, would it? ❞ wonyoung chimed into the conversation.

no, it wouldn't, but I'm just scared I would embarrass myself in front of them, she thought to herself as she let wonyoung's question sink in.

❝if... if I tried, what makes you think I would even be accepted into the group. I mean, they've known each other for most of their lives. ❞ she stopped and looked around the table, seeing all eyes on her.

❝It would be like letting a stranger into your life. ❞ she concluded, seeing some of the girls nod to her words.

❝what's wrong with that? I mean you guys were like strangers to seeun, wonyoung, and me, yet we took you guys in. ❞ they all looked at sunwoo, his words were true.

jiyoung sighed, knowing she wasn't going to win their little debate.

❝fine, but if I don't get accepted, I told you so. ❞ she raised her hands up as is she was surrendering.

❝and if you do get accepted, we told you so. ❞ ningning smirks as she points her chopsticks in jiyoung's direction.

their conversations were switching between topics every so often. the girls were so distracted they didn't even notice sunwoo had texted someone.
