the day was january 27; the day cho jiyoung, youngest daughter of the cho family, was born. today was supposed to be happy day, right? that's what they all had in mind when they had brought jiyoung to a park for a party.
her surprise birthday party, to be precise. they had planned a surprise party for her. each and everyone of her close friends, cousins, uncles, aunts, and relatives had showed up.
when she woke up her phone was ringing, buzzing with notifications of each of the fans wishing her a happy birthday. she couldn't have asked for more.
haechan was the first to wish her a happy birthday. due to that, she had been in such a good mood all day. ❝happy birthday princess! ❞ he had come into the room with a tiny cake, those that came in those lunch boxes.
the rest of the boys tailing behind haechan singing happy birthday. ❝happy birthday to jiyoung! happy birthday to you! ❞ the whole morning was filled with laughs as chenle had pushed her head into the cake after she blew the candle and took it off.
haechan soon dropped her off at her house and she was bombarded with hugs and gifts from her closest friends. she had invited them over to where her mom had said the party was going to be held at.
she was secretly hoping that her siblings would be there as it's been a while since she'd seen them. she quickly changed into the outfit her parents had bought her, specifically chosen for this occasion. but she didn't know that.
after the girls all squishes themselves into xiaoting's car, they drove off towards the venue. jiyoung had been bugging the girls to tell her where they were driving off too as they had been driving for more than thirty minutes.
so instead they just gave her the aux as she started playing her favorite songs.
❝UN village hill~ ❞ the rest of the girls raised their hands and acted as if they were at a concert. they took out their phones when they saw they were entering a tunnel, acting as if they were fans in the crowd of someone's concert.
xiaoting's glanced down at jiyoung's phone and wished she hadn't. she decided to ignore it for now, and if anything else happens she can just tell them what she had seen.
ningning, who was right next to her in the passenger seat as wonyoung and seeun were in the back with jiyoung, had also seen it.
she and xiaoting made eye contact, almost as if they were having a conversation with their eyes. in the end she grabbed the american's phone and deleted it right after taking a screenshot and sending to herself.
❝alright! ❞ ningning exclaimed as she unbuckled herself, the rest of the girls copying her moves and exiting the vehicle.
❝this place is so pretty! ❞ jiyoung squealed as she pulled out her phone and started to take pictures.
