Your parents were sent overseas to explore equatorial Africa.
However you had a small problem, just a small one, barley presivable to the average eye.
That was obviously a lie because..-
A great white shark had attacked the small ship you and your parents were in, putting a small hole in the base of the ship.
But just because the hole was small doesn't mean that it didn't sink the boat just as fast as a bigger hole would.
Your father had managed to lower the emergency life boat into the water with your mother in it.
Looking up at the ship in search of her beloved husband. With a running start, he takes a swan dive off the boat and into the trashing waves of the ocean.
Swimming desperately to the small boat you and your mother were in. He was pulled up by your mom and into the boat, hugging eachother in relief.
*time skip lol*
You're now eighteen, and quite curious, as you lie in your favorite tree you wonder if there were other kinds of animals in the forest, your father never let you explore the other parts of the forest. Because he said it was dangerous.
You've always wondered what other animals looked like you.
You often sneak out of the leap to explore parts of the forest piece-by-piece. You got caught on multiple occasions. But that never stoped you, when did it ever? Because everytime you got caught..
You only got sneakier.
You were curious, what more could you say!?
And since you were ever so curious, you dragged your good friend Rajah into it.
She didn't mind though, climbing through trees with you was fun! She loved getting more opportunities to hand out with her best friend!
Rajah's mother thought otherwise.. she thought you were a bad influence, and the fact that you were different from her made her all the more distrusting of you.
Which ultimately made it ten times worse, she always had this negative mindset that if someone was different from her, they must be a threat, right?
Wrong. You weren't, you had never put your hands on another animal in such a way, you never had the heart.
However besides Rajah's mother hating your guts.
The other leopards really didn't seem to care! After all; you had a few features that made you seem like one of them!
You had the fiercest eyes a leopard had ever had the fortune of seeing, long nails that imitate claws, and relatively sharp canines to tear meat apart! Those were your favorite features about yourself.

~"Y/n!" My father, Fenrir, the leader of the large leap, took me in when I was just a 'cub' he said that awful animals would have attacked me if he had not been there before things got bloody.
You were very grateful for him, truly! You were! But sometimes, he can be quite annoying.
"Rajah's mother had informed me that you had been wondering off away from the leap an awful lot lately, and bringing Rajah along with you.." He said, revising over what the worried mother had complained about to him.
I stare at him in disbelief at what he had told me "She seems very worried for the both of you." He stated calmly.
"She's not worried.. she's nosey" I mutter under my breath, crossing my arms over my chest, annoyed with the fact that she keeps complaining to my father about such a trivial matter.
Fenrir's ears twitch, I take that as a sign that he heard me. "Y/n; you have to understand that what you are doing is dangerous and that you have to stop this" He said, putting his paw on the bridge of his nose in aggravation.
I uncross my arms as I stare at him, taking in what he's saying. "But i-" I start, being cut off by Fenrir "Enough, you have to stop, for everyone's sake; for my sake, her whining and complaining is becoming insufferable" Starting to pout, I silently beg him to drop the subject.
"Y/n, do you understand what im saying to you?" He states, becoming serious now.
I simply nod my head yes and begin to turn around. "Y/n.. do you understand?" I turn to face him putting on a bitter sweet smile, "Oh yes father, I understand!" And speed walking away from his small cave.
Looking back, making sure his cave was no longer in my line of vision; I walk towards a small pond, my safe haven. Vines and leaves acting as a curtian.
And shielding from the world.
Well, almost. Rajah knew about your little spot behind the trees and leaves, you were always there, and she would always find you.
When Rajah eventually did find you, she could sense your annoyance, she could practically taste it.
It radiated off of you when you sat down, Rajah decided to join you and attempt to make you feel less annoyed.
"Fenrir.. huh?" She asked, you didn't need to answer though, she already knew.
"Listen- " She started "My mother, she.. she can be annoying sometimes.." Rajah confessed.
You looked away from the pond and up at her giving her a look that clearly read; 'really?'
Rajah giggled at the way you looked at her, covering her mouth with her paw.
"Okay! Yeah sure she can be really annoying! But that's just how she is.. " She says, bowing her head down to look at the water in front of her.
You huffed at what Rajah had said, and she was right, a 'worried' mother will be a 'worried' mother.
" I guess so.. but this just isn't fair! I just wanna roam, you know?" You ask looking for an answer from your leppard freind.
"Yeah, you're right! I wanna go explore too! But mother says your a bad influence and is trying to keep me away from you.. " Rajah says disappointed at her mother's actions.
"We should do it anyways; tonight! You want to come with me though.. right? I know how your curfew is.. " You say, looking up at Rajah in question.
"I'll try to sneak out when my mom is asleep?" The leppard says uncertain.
"Meet me back here when your mother is asleep" You say standing up.
"Were leaving tonight.."
