✧ It took Michael a bit to realize you were a cop, but that was only because when he met you it was a complete accident and you weren't in uniform

✧ It was Halloween and you happened to check up on the Myers house just out of pure habit. You had a set of pajamas on to at least match the people around you a bit. Michael had let his guard down for the slightest second, taking his mask off and setting at the kitchen table when you walked in and asked him what he was doing

✧ Michael spun around and thought of the quickest lie you could have ever thought, saying that he had always wanted to go into the Myers house. He slid his mask behind his back on the table. His knife was across the table, but it was dark enough for it to go unnoticed if you stayed in the doorway. He felt like he should have killed you as a witness of course, but you caught him by surprise, something that never happened

✧ You both somehow managed to form a relationship, and Michael sure as hell glad that he didn't kill you on the spot, but now he has to keep up his lie. He found out you where a new cop in town and his stomach churned. He couldn't keep lying to you but... he was The Shape, he had to keep it from you

✧ Michael weighed his options: 1) tell you and have you either understand and keep it a secret or turn him in or 2) keep his lie going, even though he didn't want to keep anything from you

✧ He thought of this everyday, which is a long time. You've both been together for almost a few years and he couldn't help but love and hate you. Why did you have to be a cop? Michael wasn't a normal boyfriend that you deserve, and didn't show his emotions or talk all the time. You could turn him over, and it was his fault for getting close to you

✧ Yet he saw the way that you looked at him, and the way that you loved him. Should he keep up his cliche little happy family suburban life that he absolutely despised, or confront you and possible sell himself out to you?

✧ He had made up his mind the night you both had an stay at home date. He would tell you while you both sat on the couch and could only hope you accepted it
