Jareth looks at the crystal and sees Hoggle. Finally, now he could catch up to you and get you out of here.
He never thought he'd be thankful over the rat.

Jareth steps out in front of you and you jump slightly.
"Jareth!" Hoggle says nervously. Jareth only stares at you. "Y/n, come with me. We need to have a little talk."
Hoggle looks between you two. "Yes Haggis you can go." Jareth said. Hoggle scurries away quickly, but remains near to hear what's going on.
"Give me the book."
"If I give you the book...can I see the rest of the Labyrinth?"
Jareth blinks. No one's asked that before.
"Are you trying to make a deal?" Jareth says pulling a smirk on.
"No. I'll give it back, I just want to learn about everything. Like...what's that plants name." You point to a small plant that has an eye on it. It shrinks back into the wall.
"Dendoria."
You repeat that under your breath and look at it fascinated.
You pull the book out and say "I give this book back to King Jareth. Ruler of Goblin City." Jareth takes it and the book immediately turns to dust.
You both stare at it for a moment.
"We need to get to my castle." Jareth says. "You can have your tour later."
And then he grabbed your hand.

The goblins were in disarray, some were screaming and running, others were jumping up and down. Jareth didn't have time to ask them what was going on.
He needed to get to the tapestry room.
He didn't let go of your hand until he got to the door.
Jareth opens the door and enters. You follow him into it. Jareth closes the door, and all outside noise was silenced. He walked up to his tapestry and then saw there was a change. The circle that was empty was now being stitched up with your face.
Apparently, not only was there a new King, but in the future y/n would marry him.
Jareth walks over to the pedestal. The pile of ash lay there.
"Come on now, don't be dramatic I know you just didn't shrivel up and actually die." The pedestal moved backwards.
You looked at all the tapestries in wonder. Jareth's whole family line was there. You stopped at King Hayewoods tapestry. That must have been Jareth's father.
The ash began moving, and color began to return.
Jareth wondered if he was ever as dramatic as the book...well since there was no one who stuck around to tolerate him and speak to him honestly, he'd never know.
"The book is rebuilding itself, there wasn't a reason to worry." Jareth says looking over to you. His eyes widen as you move on to Jareth's.
He quickly moves over and faces you towards him.
"How about we go on that tour of the Labyrinth. Hm?"
You grin. "Alright." You go towards the door and Jareth looks at the tapestry, your face brightly shining next to his. Ho boy...

The walls of the Labyrinth teemed with life, and glitter. "How many bricks did this take? Must be well over a Trillion."
Jareth beams "Yes actually."
"'ello there!" You look at a worm and peered at it. "Hello?" You ask cautiously.
"Wanna have a cup of tea? Meet the missus'?"
You look at Jareth and then back at the worm. "I don't see why not. Though I'm not sure how we'll get in, or have tea."
The worm smiled "There's doors everywhere!...No one's ever wanted to meet the missus' before." The worm looked to Jareth and wiggled happily before crawling away in the hole.
The vines wrap around your foot and Jareths and drag you both into the hole. Somehow, you got into the tiny hole. Magic. You would never be able to understand it.
"We're tiny!" You exclaimed as you saw how big the worm was. "I like to call it my little 'worm hole' get it? I've been waiting years to make that joke!" The worm looked over to a tunnel and said "My name is Just A. Worm. My Missus' name is Thena, she's coming."
A female version of the worm crawled in with a platter of tea cups and tea looking liquid with steam rising out of it. She had a black and teal scarf on and she hugged Just. "I have some tea for you boys. It's lovely to see people coming into the Labyrinth. We don't get many visitors." "She practices her etiquette all the time." Just adds, and then the cup lifts to his mouth and is set down. There are no visible arms.
You look over to Jareth and Jareth looks away. You bravely pick up the cup and try it.
Actually, it DID taste like tea. You didn't know what you were really expecting. You relaxed a little and let a smile run it's course on your face.
Just cleared his throat "I didn't plan this far, how long will you be in the Labyrinth?" "A couple of hours." Jareth answered for you.
You looked down to the rim of your cup. Of course. Just a couple of hours and then back to your normal life. Where magic didn't exist and all hope was lost.
Just frowned "So we won't be seeing you again?"
"I might just turn him into a goblin." Jareth teased looking over at you. You look over at him with wide eyes. He smirked at your face.
How adorable.
"What, afraid of having to face me forever?"
"I'm not afraid of having to face you, nor am I afraid of being a little chubbier, green, and shorter...unless I get to look like you." You say. "What do you mean?" Jareth asked, already knowing where you were headed.
You tried and find the right words. "Hot?"
"You find me attractive then?"
Embarrassment shook you to your introverted core. "I- That's not what I- Mrs Thena, did you make the tea yourself?"
She nodded "I grew the tea leaves myself, I did! We have a whole garden out in the back if you'd like to see it!" You winced a little. "We do have to get moving if we can see the whole thing in time. I'm sorry-" "Oh no matter! We're just glad to have company." Just says, looking like a whole new worm.
"We'll see you off then!" The worms went out of the hole, and you went out the door and grew back to your original height. You fell backwards into Jareth's arms.
"Falling for me already?" Jareth asked. You rolled your eyes and said "I'm not used to magic yet."
"Oh you will, Y/n. You were meant for this type of chaos."
