She was back at her cell. She could almost say, she was home. But after her meeting with Silver, this felt more like a prison than ever. She knew she has a doughter out there. She know the day she must hatched. It was two days ago. On the brightest night. She must be beatiful. And if Silverwing listened her, he would name the dragonet Greenling. Except she wasn't green, but looking at her egg, this was unlikely.

She didn't eat at all for days. She was depressed deeply. She wanted to die, and wanted to kill. She wanted to die, while she kill all her enemies. She felt she gave up. Just lied on the moss bed, and drifted in and out from one nightmare to the another.
She had no strength to even talk to the guards who were around her cell, moving prisoners and bring food (and take it later, untouched). But it seemed everybody remembered her, nobody dared to stay with her too long, and they glanced at her nervously way too often. But nobody talked to her, until...
"Green demon!" Someone hissed behind her. She only lashed her tail the littlest, but didn't care about it. This dragon will leave her, just like the others, undoubtedly. "Look at me, Green Demon!" Come the hiss again. She liked that nickname, she felt like it fits for her. She slowly lifted up her head, and turned to the entrance of the cell. A skywing stood a little farther, so familiar, and so strange at once. She remembered that face. That face always smiled, and tried to give everyone hope. Now it was full of hate, and fear and something else... It tooked a minute, but she realized. It was a look of a  betrayed dragon. He must feel someone betrayed him. She wondered who was it. "No words, Green Demon?" He snapped at her again. Oh. Maybe she was the traitor of him. But she didn't really understand, why exactly. It felt all stange and unimportant, after Silverwing and the egg.
"What do you want, Butcher?" She said, but she didn't felt the old hate inside her. She felt empty. He looked at her, a little suprised, but still distant.
"Justice, after what you did! What you did with me, and General Harpy." He answered angrily. She just snorted. "You betrayed me, when I gave you a chance. You shamed me. The others thought I can handle you, and... I thought too." His voice dropped.
"Nobody can handle me, Butcher. It was true before, and it is more true from now on." She hissed, and felt her fury grow stronger. He stared at her, and must seen something in her eyes, because he relaxed a little.
"What happened?" He asked, and stepped a little forward, but still keeped his distance.
"Not your business, Butcher!" She roared angrily, and Dar jumped back. He didn't say anything, just watched her with thoughtful expression. Evergreen felt the grief too strong, and wanted to give back to the nightmares. Even they were more acceptable than real life. Neither of them speaked for minutes. Then Dar broke the silenece.
"I know that expression. You lost something... Didn't you?" She asked silently. She turned away from him, she don't want to him to see how broken she was.
Blood poured from countless little wound and scratch, after her fight with the skywings. She collapsed to the ground, and breathed heavily, not from the wounds, rather hopelessness. "Or... Someone?" He guessed. She sighed, and closed her eyes. "I take that as a yes." He stepped closer carefully.
"Would you just leave me once, Butcher?" She asked tiredly, hopeless.
"I don't think that is a good idea." He replied slowly. "Usually I gave a hug when I see someone this sad." He continued uncertain.
"I will rip your wings out, if you try." She growled low.
"I believe you, Green demon." He said calmly, with a hint of anger in his voice.
"Don't call me like that, Butcher" She hissed, but didn't really meaning it.
"Then don't lose the hope. I can see clearly you are very close to it. But don't. If you want to get back what you lost, you have to be strong." He said hard.
"Thank you for the advice, even if I didn't asked for it. Any idea how to achieve that?" She asked sarcastically.
"Just don't give up. Everything will be fine, Evergreen." He said, and truned away.
"What about the Green Demon? I liked it!" She shouted after him. He laughed as he walked away from her.
