"Wait, wait, wait, WHAT?!" Alexander whisper screamed, freaking out, due to the fact that he is mortified by zombies.
"Calm down Alex, it will be alright." Tommy said, grasping his hand gently. "We can get out of here, call the police, or something, and everyone will be alright."
"Actually, we can't call anyone, I have no service, and my phone says that people should lock there houses up, board the windows, and hide in the basement." Tommy gave me a murderous look, and shook his head slightly. "But I'm sure we'll be fine. . ." I said sarcastically. Two of the second graders were hugging each other, and sobbing, quite loudly actually, while their friend tried to calm them down.
My overthinking brain took over and I started analyzing the situation, calmly.
"Alright, we need to protect ourselves, so here's what we're gonna do. Macie, you go take the seventh and eight graders and find weapons. Tommy, you take the rest of the kids down to the girls locker room. Me and Alexander are gonna find some supply's, including a locker key so we can raid peoples lockers. Meet in the girls locker rooms in twenty minutes." I ordered, while people stared at me. "Oh, and, make sure to be quiet. Zombies react to noise."
"Alright, alright, come on kids." Tommy said, annoyed. He whispered to me. "Why did you have to stick me with the children?"
"Because you are a fucking child stuck in a seventeen year old," I grumbled. "Now go."
"Fine, fine."
Macie had already taken her group and went to look for weapons.
"Um, Griff? Can I go with Tommy to the locker rooms? I don't wanna go into the middle of the zombie hideout." Alexander asked nervously.
"No, I'm sorry, but we all need at least one other person with us, and I don't want you getting scared while your with a bunch of elementary schoolers," I said, exasperated. "Now come on, these lockers aren't gonna loot themselves." I said, practically dragging him.
Despite the fact that I am shorter and skinnier than Alexander,
I have always been stronger than him. He sighed and begrudgingly followed.
<Time Skip>
We were searching the principle's office, when I found it.
"Bingo!" I yelled quietly.
"What?" Alexander queried.
"I found the locker key."
"Good, now let's go to the locker room, I'm getting really scared."
"Fine, let's go." I sighed sadly.
