Chapter 5: Grocery Shopping

Boboiboy sat up straight from his bed and stretched, he had a great sleep last night.

Coming out of his room, he saw Gopal and Fang staring at a lollipop on the coffee table at the living room, "Uhhh, good morning..?" he greeted, "What's with you guys?" he asked.

"Gopal..." Fang started, looking right back up at Boboiboy with bags under his eyes, "...he turned the car into a candy."

Boboiboy widened his eyes, "You guys stole it back?!" he questioned.

"No!" Fang replied, hurriedly waving his hands, "Some things happened and we were able to get the car--I mean--the ship back!" he said, "We demonstrated Gopal's powers by transforming a rock into a candy then reverted it back so we wanted to show them the original form of the car but someone ended up scaring Gopal in the process and turned the car into a candy." he explained, slumping down to the ground, "Euurghh...what now??" he asked.

"Aduhh...he thinks that we've been making things up and got drunk, and with my powers, we ended up believing things..." Gopal added, "Eish! They were about to arrest us too! The only reason why we hadn't was because of the possibility that we might be telling the truth."

Boboiboy then spoke up, "Then maybe we should make our own ship?" he asked, "Or wait for the day for Gopal to recharge and revert back the candy to our ship." he suggested, "But then we'd need a place big enough to work on it..." Boboiboy then hummed in thought.

Then, a knock on the door was heard, Gopal went to open it and saw Yaya with a huge smile on her face. Like an infection, Gopal smiled back, giving a way for Yaya to enter, "Any good news, Yaya?" he asked.

Yaya nodded, "Good news! We can fix our ship by getting some help and the best chance in getting that is to enter the UA school." Yaya explained, her hand on her chin, "Buuutt...it will take months." she then glanced up to Gopal, "And bad news..." she started, causing Gopal to frown.

"Oh, no." Gopal commented.

"...quirks meant superpowers and in this planet, we'd need a license to use it." Yaya explain it, "But!" she starts to pace, "I think we can use it little by little if we start school at UA, I researched about it and found out that students can use their quirks in an exercise." she then looked back at Fang, "So! If we can just get Gopal to do these exercises, let him use his powers...and even get him to learn and enhance his powers!"

Fang then straightened up his posture with a hopeful glint in his eyes, "Then he'd be able to make the combustion chamber big enough for the ship and including reverting back the candy to the ship!" he added, he clasped his hands together and cheered, "That's genius! Plus, we don't know for how long we will be staying here so this is a better start."

Boboiboy hummed in approval, "That's a great plan to when the detective doesn't believe us that we are aliens..." he sheepishly laughed, "We should tell, Ying." he said.

Fang thought, "You think she found anything by now?" he said aloud, "It's been a long since we last saw her." he added.

Yaya tapped something on her watch, smiled, and showed everyone with a holographic screen, "Seems she's been busy." she showed them what looked like Ying being covered in books and scrolls. "I'll message her to get back here." Yaya giggled, "She needs a rest and I miss hanging out with my bestie."

Boboiboy brightly smiled and put up a thumbs up, "Awesome! Ah, that's right, weren't we supposed to go to the station now? For that check-up thing." Boboiboy said.

Fang dragged his body up with a disgruntled look, "Ugghh, I miss carrot donuts..." he muttered and gave Yaya an idea.

"Oh! I'll make one for you, Fang!" Yaya replied, Fang just sheepishly smiled in defeat and gave her a thumbs up.
