I'm sure you all know about TeenFic.net stealing our stories. There's a petition currently going on, and even though idk if it may be done or what, it still needs more. We all need to work as one and shut it down once and for all. It's gathering more readers and making weird-ass ads to draw in more thus expanding its army. But it's not the only one. I've made a list of ones I know, so please check them for your stories and then stay away from them. (Or shut them down.)

Dtruyen.com, aetruyen.com, truyenfun.com, http waptruyenhay.mobi, teenfic.com, truyen3s.com, novelHD.com, and m.manga4u.com.

As you can see, most of the ones I've listed down have truyen in them. It's in Vietnamese, and it means hereditary, or inheritance. And if you look them up, (I'm not sure abt all) they have some Vietnamese on the covers. No hate towards any of yall from Vietnam but this is incredibly suspicious. I'm not saying I'm blaming you guys. I'm asking why. Why would they steal our stories, all our hard-earned work? After learning about this, I was pressured to delete my stories. Burdened with stress, personal problems, family stuff, emotional/mental shoetocky tweens/teens go through, no sleep, lack of motivation, and loss of inspiration, I did. I'm still feeling uneasy about posting the book but I promised myself that this year, I will try.

But yet, I can't express my emotions, my jumbled mess of feelings. How I feel so fricking useless when everyone has so many achievements. My parents always had first place, top five. My late grand-uncle had a military rank. His son, he's a police officer. My grand-aunt, a teacher, a mother. My paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother were both overseas workers. My [maternal] great-grandfather came from Spain and was a wood carver in their small little town. One of the best, my grandma always said. She was the oldest of 9 children. 6 remain to this day. And my grandma is one of them. All of my family grew up in hardships and rose out of it stronger than they were before, with achievements. And what can I offer? Nothing else but deep understanding and a good voice. And living in a strict-ass country, I can't even sign the petition and help the movement. But I'm not here to vent. I'm here to say something.

They're raising their army. We must train ours. We cannot let our stories be pulled away from us just like that. Just like lip-syncing steals our voice identity, plagiarism steals our writing identity. Theft is a crime. So, what do we do? We will not stand for this. We won't just let them take our hard-earned work away from us, right? Share the petition link. Make it known. And together, as a myriad of published authors, supported creators, and aspiring writers, we can make this work.

Please stop stealing our stories.
