As you read this work, please do keep in mind that (as previously written in the description), this piece is in no way a part of, or connected to, the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. This is a fanfiction and a take on an alternate ending to the series, a "what if" Katniss Everdeen had made different choices and how they would affect others, particularly those in the Capitol.
This is partially based off of both the books, for a lot of the experiences in the arena, and the movies, where President Snow's granddaughter appears and has lines. I have tried to keep true to her personality as shown in the movies as well as making her original. Many parts of this fanfiction have myself added into them, as you may notice if you know me better, so I do apologize if any of this seems to be unrealistic or not in keeping with Clio's personality. Any mistakes, plot holes, grammar/spelling mistakes, and incorrect portrayals would be entirely on my part.
The title, The Sound of Falling Snow, is, in fact, a reference to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, where Casca Highbottom taunts Coriolanus with a similar saying.
