TW! Underage drinking

Scar was sitting, locked in their room, contemplating their existence. They just wanted to go straight through the floor and disappear. Scar flopped onto their bed and let out a long groan. Tears threatened to spill, but Scar closed their eyes and tried calming down.

They were sure that Grian will tell everyone at school what happened. They really didn't want to get bullied again. They remembered what Pa said, but it was hard to not give a shit when you are getting beat the shit out.

Scar sat back up. He should really finished the painting, but his mind kept wandering back to the mall. He felt terrible for just running off like that. Scar was sure that Pa will understand.

For once they tried to focus on the canvas in front of him. Scar didn't want to finish this, it would feel wrong to do it without any real inspiration. Instead, they pulled out another clean canvas. Scar was sure he wanted to draw, but his mind was blank. Or rather the embarrassing moment just wouldn't leave his mind, it took over his brain. Before painting anything he needed to clear their brain.

Scar pulled their chair and sat down in front of a desk with a big monitor on it. The table was probably one of the 2 only semi-clean spaces in his room. He booted up the computer that was under the table. The sound of his computer starting let him somewhat forget what happened.

They waited for the screen to load. The home screen was a painting that he did of his cat Jellie. Sadly she couldn't live with them, so Jellie was now living with his dad's mom. Scar opened up the Minecraft launcher and waited for the game itself to open up.

He loaded one of his old worlds, reminiscing of old times, times when he didn't need to be something bigger than himself. Times when everything was just fine. The world in front of him was his very first taste of real friendship, his very first view of the impact of words, his very first deep emotion still lingering in the air of these strings of code. But just like any other good thing it didn't last too long.

He wishes he hadn't said the things he did, he wished he hadn't done the things he did. He wishes he would've done something, anything!

Maybe it wasn't the best idea to come back here. Scar quickly closed the world. Don't get him wrong he loved the time spent there, and the friends he made, but it was too much for now. In times like these, when he has this impossible urge to go back to the old times, he opens up his creative world and builds. He builds anything and everything. Sometimes the memories fill his mind and he feels like that little boy in front of his screen laughing with his friends, simply enjoying his time here no matter how long it will last.

In the end, just like for other millions of people, Minecraft wasn't just a game. We never truly stop playing it, we just take breaks. Sometimes those breaks are longer than others, but Minecraft will always find a way to come back.

Scar laughed at himself, it was so stupid to think of some game in that way. But isn't it true?

His creative world was opened up and Scar began building. Nothing really just anything that will take his mind off of things. His mind was getting foggy again, but he didn't mind. He never did.

Hours passed and his mind was finally starting to clear up, the pain of a cramped up hand reached his brain and Scar cringed. While still trying to loosen up his hand he looked at a clock on his computer. Nothing like building for... 7 hours?!

Scar stood up and regretted that decision very fast as his vision went black. He quickly sat back down and blinked a couple of times letting his vision go back to normal before trying to stand up once again. "Oh God... I really need to put up an alarm or something."
