My phone alarm sounded, 5:30. I slipped on the bikini I chose to wear for the day then a pair of denim shorts and a linen shirt that i left half undone. I then did some light makeup, making sure to put some facial suncream on too. I tied my hair up too as it keeps you a lot cooler if you do that. The weather is hot enough today i don't need my hair to make me any warmer. Shoving all my stuff into a bag that i found shoved in the back of my wardrobe I got a text message from Louis saying he was very nearly here. Such an early bird. I put the bag on my shoulder, put on some shoes and headed out the door to wait for Louis. A taxi pulled up and Louis waved at me from the inside ushering me to get in and I did so.

"Are you ready then?" he asked

"Yes! I can't wait I can already feel the heat and it's not even the hottest it's going to get."

"I know, I just hope it doesn't get too hot."

We pulled up outside the train station and Louis opened the door for me. I grabbed my bag while he grasped his nearly empty one in his hand.

"Here let me put your bag in mine, yours looks very empty so it should fit in mine." I offered

"Are you sure?"

"Yep" he handed me his bag and I stuffed it in mine, it fit perfectly just as i thought.

We headed through the gates and waited on the platform for the train that soon came. We hopped on and managed to get a table seat, the train was quite empty but it was still only early in the morning so that explains it. I sat on the seat next to the window while louis sat next to me, my legs laying across his lap. I got out my book and read. Louis dragged his fingers up and down my legs whilst reading whatever he was reading. The train made an announcement  "We will shortly be arriving at Folkestone"

"Okay this is our stop" Louis said packing up his stuff and shoving it in my bag, I also put away my stuff.

We got off the train and exited the station, we were suddenly hit by the fresh smell of the salty air and the bright light that beamed through the cloudless sky.

We arrived to the beachfront, we had to walk downhill to get to the beach but the view was already beautiful from here, the sea was a beautiful clear fresh blue and the sand was whiter than on most uk beaches it was still quite pebbly by the looks of it ,though but most uk beaches are. There were many flowers that added even more colour to the scenery.

Louis took my hand as we headed down the path towards the beach, there still didn't seem to be that many people out yet and it was already 9:30.

We soon landed at the beach after the short walk and it was still as beautiful as it was at the top of the hill. We laid the towels out on the sand and left the bag on the floor right beside them. I took off my shorts and shirt so I only had my bikini on while Louis took his shirt off so he was only in his swimsuit bottoms.

"Have you got suncream on?" I asked while sitting down next to Louis

"uhh" he gave me a guilty look.

"It's like baby sitting a child with you" I laughed.

"Well actually I put some on just not my back because I couldn't reach and everyone was still asleep."

"Okay come here and stand up."

He stood up in front of me and I held my arms out so he could also help me up. He hauled me up and I sprayed his back with suncream.

"Ah" he complained.
